Don't think anyone is being unrealistic, at some point he'll go. But the inference he doesn't really give a toss and should leave to help the club is frankly insulting to him. None of us know what he's really feeling and that is the reality. For what it's worth if he had been asked to go to save the club, then he's perfectly right to find the club he feels is best for him.

Do you really know that about Clough? True at some point he will probably go, but maybe the kid does actually have an affinity for the club. He's been here half his life, and remembering his gran's (I think it was) comments on the radio last year, he seems to be from a down to earth supportive family. It is possible he does want to stay. As for helping more by leaving, well we're entitled to opinions, but to me that's utter crap. Just hope he actually reads supportive stuff not that of cynics.

Funnily enough, and I might be in the minority, but if his decision to stay cost us cash that sent us to oblivion, then I'd not bother one bit. It's not his fault the clubs fooked and anyone remotely demonizing him in such a situation should seriously look at themselves. The kid wants to stay, and perhaps should be applauded by all parties for not going somewhere just for cash and risking not playing to his ability at Bristol. As for Davies, you're right, he's done what's best for him too. The difference is he's a senior player on premiere wages, massively underperforming here and maybe given the fact nobody seems to want to match his wages, he should look at himself and pull his finger out.
