Whether Chelsea have done as you say has nothing to do with Capello- it's HIS belief that JT should carry on for the time being. He may be the only person that feels that, I dunno.
My point is purely a managerial issue- as that article above points out- it's quite right too, irrespective of the fact it was written by Gary Neville.
Had a gaffer recently, who was basically told by his gaffer to get rid of someone who'd been causing problems. His response to his gaffer was that he didn't agree they should be got rid of, and that as he was their line manger he would deal with it his way; and was prepared to live or die by that decision. Good on him.
