  1. But on the plus side, and going someone way to counter finance job losses, 8000 more Whitehall civil servants to deal with the admin.
  2. This is good news, now our politicians are being a bit more honest and realistic and starting to manage the expectations of the public, they might actually be able to start to reach an agreement to move forward and get this whole episode done and finished.
  3. Wed done plenty of professional game management which is why there was six minutes. The best one was when madine was down for two minutes, we had to give Fulham the ball back so kicked it out down the corner and pressed them right in. If we'd have scored from that their fans would not have been happy and if a team did it at ours there'd be a lot of abuse. We didn't lack game management or professionalism today.
  4. We are so much better organised than two years ago. Arguably we could have sat back last ten instead of taking Vela off for Alf but Vela was cooked so fair play to PP for not just bringing Derik or defender on. Fulham were a tough side to play against, move the ball very quickly and could have had a hatful on another day but we made chances too and hung on ahead bravely until the death. Definitely one of the better performances I've seen from us at Fulham.
  5. Another great thing about Pure bar is there's no grumpy old men there
  6. Purity brewery have a good bar called Pure near the station. Won't be much atmosphere pre game but will get seats and their ales are good
  7. That's not the reason San Marino lose though. It's because they can't get good enough players. Like we can't.
  8. Change to 442 and concede? Exactly the same happened the other week too.
  9. Had a few weeks dry now and will do another 3 until my marathon is done. Fortunately that is before Fulham, so can look forward to that one.
  10. Fancy us to win today. Ipswich's early results flattered them
  11. Not the final season. Back 4 couldn't handle Donaldson, like they didn't know he'd play, and they had a very comfortable win.
  12. I've looked at Boro's bench again. I'd go as far as saying all 7 would be starters if they were added to our squad tomorrow. We need to add a bit more quality if we can, especially in midfield. Saying that the Birmingham performance was much better than anything we managed away under Lennon. The poorer teams can be beaten.
  13. I completely agree and we get much the better end of the deal. Our away fixtures so far have been much cheaper than any visitors at the Macron have paid. £20 for us at Brum meant we had a good following for a Tuesday, someone said Blades are £32 at ours this week!!!
  14. That would be very bad news for us though and I doubt Ken would be keen. We're doing well from ripping off fans of other clubs with great away followings. The trick of making them sell the expensive upper tier first too, is poor in my opinion.
  15. Traore's performance was as good a single performance I've seen against us outside the premier league. Robinson had a really tough game and, yes, got done lots of times but by a very good player and I thought he stuck with it well. Players on their bench would be by far the best players on our team. Madine crafted two opportunities for himself. The rest got outclassed today.
  16. I hope it will be gone for the January window.
  17. Or rearranged at terms agreeable to Ken. Which will do for me as he strikes me as shrewd and gets a good deal. Think this is the best outcome for us right now.
  18. Anyway, Radcliffe trail half marathon is the one I'm hoping to be able to do.
  19. I would think Bonnar will write about it once he's aware, he often says Bolton should have its marathon so I guess he'd say the same about the half. I don't agree with a lot of what he tweets about local cricket but he does generally support local sport I think.
  20. Is this true, or opinion? I think the law is he has to provide the liquidator all relevant information that is asked for. He can't he charging half a million a pop for it either.
  21. Under Lennon last time out we were losing 4s and 6s at Rotherham and Bristol City. In two similar aways this time we've picked up a couple of points. A handful of away wins will come under PP. We then need to make sure home wins come against nearly all the bottom half. It's possible.
  22. I'd be very happy with that. Will be plenty who won't though, will be crying out for two up front and ALF in. We need a midfielder with a defensive mindset first and foremost, more than any formation change.
  23. And we already have 50% of the points away from home that we did in our entire championship season last time round. Blades is already going to be a big game.
