Fans Forum Question & Answers - Owen Coyle, Phil Gartside
No they didn't, which was a bit disappointing. However they've said they'll be doing another forum so there should be another chance to bring it up. Hopefully in the future they'll be a few less poor questions and (as has been said) the opportunity to raise follow up questions. Was very please all in all though and thought Gartside was excellent.

Wanderers 1 Burnley 0
Suprised Davies played both the Shef U and Burnley games, looks very tired imo. Solid team performance last night, there was only one team going to win that match, I don't think they even had a half chance in the second half, well played Zat Knight also.

El Hadji Diouf's Cars
I'm sure he does send money back but surely he could do more by not spending his cash on stuff like that and setting a good example, part of the reason people in Afica are so poor is because of luxuries available in more developed countries. I just thought he would find it an abomination - evedently not.

El Hadji Diouf's Cars
Can't be that many people that have managed to earn as much money as him (coming from such a poor background), I'd like to think he'd spend money on a school or a football academy in Senegal before he would even think of buying a silver plated tw@tmobile.

El Hadji Diouf's Cars
Saw that SLR behind BL1 around christmas time, was either him or someone with equally bad taste. Also, thought he had an Aston Martin with massive chrome alloys as well. Nice to know where my season ticket money has gone. Would be annoyed but it's the Dingles paying his wages now. Wonder if his fans in Senegal are happy with him spending his money on this crap.

Haiti
They are not on holiday for god's sake, they're flying in more aid and troops than anyone else. The American response has been very fast and I don't think anyone can criticize them for their efforts.

Weed Rollcall
Spoke to one of the girls in a coffee shop in August and she said it depends on the individual coffee shop whether they let you put tobacco in the joint or not. Technically it is illegal but if someone got nicked they probably made it look very obvious that they were smoking tobacco. In all other places they've started using a tobacco substitute, basically some other similar plant that burns well with weed, taste's ok but I doubt you would smoke it on its own.

Crowds Floodding Back ?
I've always been a big fan of that idea - the crowd at the moment is too far from the pitch. It'll take a few years of good attendances and getting rid of some advertising revenue to make it happen though. In the meantime we'll just have to shout louder - WHITE ARMY!

Weed Rollcall
I prefer it to alcohol.

Milton Keynes For 2018 World Cup?
Not really. Neither us or Wigan need a new ground, both those teams do and they have the oportunity to put their rivalry aside for the good of the city.

Milton Keynes For 2018 World Cup?
Would love to see Brazil playing a game in Accrington or Notts County. Glad to see they're looking to spread out the games all over the country but if there going to do that they'll need to build two or three new grounds. Ellen Road is shit, particularly for a city like Leeds. They should knock it down and build another ground in its place, I'm sure there's enough room around there and Leeds could fill it (particularly if they got back up to prem) Anfield and Goodison are awful. They surely couldn't host a World Cup game at either of those two. If Liverpool (as a city) want to be a host city then they should build a combined stadium. Neither team has the money to build a stadium, in the area where both clubs are there is only one place to build a new stadium and they both need a new stadium. I can't think of anything more logical than them pooling together (the governemnt would even give them a shit load of cash if it was part of a World Cup bid). Unfortunately scousers are completely illogical. I've heard some of the arguments against it; "it'll ruin the rivalry" or "we're not sharing with them cvnts", but I would argue that it would be more detremental to the rivalry if Liverpool build Stanley Park and Everton moved out of the city. They could have a magnificent ground, something for the city to be proud of and at the minimun of cost to each club, but that would be just too sensible. A couple of projects like these are what this bit needs. The reason why we got the Olympics is because we argued there would be a legacy and infrastucture would be improved, we should use the same strategy when it come to the World Cup.

French / Orish "confusion"
Have you seen the new advert for the Sun? What a complete w@nker, something like "The Sun is to football, what St James' is to Newcastle". I've lost what little respect I had for him after that. He was a cheating git as well. No way will Ireland be getting a reply. Can't believe their government has got involved in this either.

Burnden Leisure Report And Accounts 2009
Couldn't agree more. God knows how much money has been wasted on Russian hookers, chrome supercars and Tony and Guy haircuts. The amount of money that is in football should mean the clubs are able to be run as viable businesses, the area the clubs are in benefit (clubs putting money into infrastucture in the town etc) and there would still be enough to pay the players higher wages than most of us could ever dream of earning. But the fact is those who control things will not change it because they are busy lining their own pockets and when it all falls apart they'll say "how were we supposed to know?" - sounds familiar.

Walcott/ridgewell Tackle
Please don't say the ref gave a free kick for that!

Ref For Saturday.....
I'm looking forward to SKD kicking the shit out of them scumbags this weekend: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...ob-1803523.html So pleased we have a player like him in our team, it really is embarrasing when Drogba acts like a little girl and even though he's quality I wouldn't want him in a Wanderers shirt.

Deborah Dunleavy..milf?
Her office is on Blackburn Road, between Asda and McDonald's. She was canvasing around our way recently, seems ok (for a Tory), don't know about being a milf. Going to definitely vote for Crausby though, can't stand Cameron or his policies and now Murdoch is behind them there's another reason to vote Labour.

These Footballer Robberies
They all deserved it!

Bolton V West Ham
Do you remember the stewards walking round the pitch with a sign saying "Neal Out!"? Back then the orange warriors and bedsheet brigade were one in the same, or so it would seem. That guy was a crap manager though. As for Megson, until someone comes up with a better suggestion for a replacement he is still the best man for the job in my opinion.

Is This Good For Us?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/se...cudamore-squads I would argue yes. Don't know if the Ginger One's transfer policy has been influenced by this coming decision or whether he's just a bit xenophobic or unable to attract foreign players, but it looks like we already meet all the criteria. Our squad is not many more than 25 players and plenty of English/English trained players in there already. Also, if the rules come in regarding how the club is run financially I would argue we would be well placed for this also. We seem to at least try and run the club as a viable business, even though the debt never seems to get reduced and perhaps this could play into our hands. I don't really agree with Scudamore on anything but at last there seems to be some common sense coming back into the game. Knowing our luck it'll be the best thing to happen to the Prem in years and we'll get relegated. Not that I think we will, start of the season last Saturday and we've got a 100% record!

If You Could Have One Player Back..............
Gota agree with this, pure class. However in the post Rioch/Todd era it has to Youri - The man was a genuis!

Shittu And Mccann Sign For Pompey!
Weird as feck if it's true. It maybe that Megson needs an extra 2m to put towards a world class attacking midfielder. Hope springs eternal.

Yanks Slating The Nhs
Where have they said this? Think you are just making things up now - go work for Murdoch. There are forty million people in America that don't have access to decent health care. There is access to some healthcare for all but what you get is pitiful if you don't have health insurance. If this was a third world country nobody would be suprised, but we're talking about the richest country on the planet for god's sake! Everybody should be getting free dick extensions and boob jobs in with the amount of cash they've got!

Vital Football Names This Site As 'unsavourary'
Personally I think this site provides healthy debate rather than just blind support. Also, I think Megson has done a decent job in this window and it's not over yet so I think he should reserve his scathing attacks until the window shuts and we see these guys playing for us. Think he does raise a good point about the schism that seems to have appeared between our supporters though. Blackburn away was an embarrassment last season. Nothing an improved standard of footy and a better league position won't sort out mind.

Sir Bobby Robson
Didn't know that, but I was very young back then. I will say, one of the main reasons I got into watching footy was the 1990 world cup, was six at the time and can remember it clear as day. Thanks for the memories Bobby.
