  1. Went last night for a trial run (everything free). The décor is super, they have done a really good job. The chef has been working for the retreat for the past 18 months so the quality of the food is still top notch.

  2. It may just be me but I don't completely blame Mark Davis for their 3rd goal, Amos had chance to get the ball up field but instead played it to Vela who decided to play it to Mark Davis who fucked up.....whilst we have heskey up front I can't see the point playing the ball out of defence like that! All is not lost keep the faith!

  3. Liam Feeney ran his bollocks off again! If all the players gave as much as him week in week out we wouldn't be in this situation. He put crosses in today and no one was up with play, that doesn't make his crosses shit like some people say, it just means we can't get players into the box quick enough. Let's enyoy this win and get behind the boys again against uddersfield!

  4. Andrew is actually from Walkden but played table tennis in the Bolton league as a youngster and always followed the super whites.

There are two kinds of bats in table tennis a hard bat (the kind that has pimples on both sides of the blade) and a bat which has sponge under the rubber.

The hard bat competition isn't as recognised as the regular world championships and won't be as hard to win (just like the BDO in darts) but its still some achievement to win it.

Just to put it into perspective when Andrew was at the top of his game he was ranked about 5 in England with the regular bat.

  5. Just to let you all know a fellow Bolton fan in Andrew Rushton today became a world champion in the hard bat table tennis world championship team event. He will play in the singles event at the Alley pally after the darts world championships.
