  1. Hope they don't get Darren Moore or they could well be there abouts come late April
  2. We did the same. Best part of the day straight in the car and away after the game
  3. Disappointing end to a disappointing One day season for Lancs. Got some good young cricketers coming through so the future looks bright but the here and now it's been a rough watch at times in the Blast and One Day Cup. 4 more Championship Games to secure Div 1 status for next season and we can put this season behind us. I'd personally like to see a new Head Coach in charge next season and not another jobs for the boys kind of appointment. Someone from the outside who can come in and be a coach and make us a better team as the talent is definitely there imo.
  4. In the middle of a field basically just north of Mansfield. Think it was called Welbeck Cricket Club. Great facilities although the outfield did seem a bit bobbly. it would be a nice place to play Club Cricket. The car park was a bit grim afterwards as it was just a field with one exit and 100s of cars trying to get out. The M1 was closed locally as well so the traffic was busy. No more Outground cricket now this year. Hopefully get the chance to tick a few more off next season
  5. Great day out today at Notts. Top Bowling performance backed up by a professional run chase with a great Ton from Jennings.Onwards now to the Quarter Final in good form and hopeful of another away win. Outground cricket is ace plenty interaction with the players today. My Lads got 7 or 8 signatures on their Shirts/Bat. Hope the ECB don't get rid of the 50 Over Comp going forward for that other franchise competition that also runs throughout August.
  6. In short No I can't help as with most things in cricket it's never easy is it Lancs Social Media team put something out about qualification is in our own hands after todays win. My understanding is that NNR prevails when all 8 matches have been finalised. Kent have won 4 games and Lancs 3 is the only reason I can think they are above us for now??
  7. Another game where the youngsters have got us over the line. Great knocks by Lavelle and Hurst in the final 20 overs of our innings and a good bowling performance by Aspinwall. Notts away next with a win getting us through. Hoping to go on Tuesday and tick off another outground.
  8. Good win against the Media Darlings CC yesterday and with Notts beating Kent with a last wicket stand of 30 odd means that we still have a opportunity to qualify if we win the next two away games starting at Lords on Sunday.
  9. I've enjoyed the 50 over stuff this season and last tbf. A lot are played on Outgrounds as you say so can tick a few off. Lancs are producing some good young players and the MetroBank 50 over gives them 1st team cricket experience. also just watching Manchester Originals now on TV, ive nothing against it like just could never support a team with the name Manchester in it.
  10. What a bad season this is turning into.
  11. Vilas leaving at the end of the season. Expected but he's been a great servant to Lancashire over the past few years. His experience will be missed going forward.
  12. 2nd in the group having only completed 1 game
  13. About time Lancashire gave up on playing in Sedbergh. Weather doesn't allow results. great day out though
  14. Another thumbs up here for lamblamb 👍
  15. Looking forward to going tomorrow and the forecast is good. Hopefully get them out in the first half hour for under 325 then get beyond their score as soon as possible. easy
  16. Big week this week for Lancs away at Warwickshire. Don't want to be getting dragged into relegation battle. Balderson and Mitchell in please and maybe Luke Wood.
  17. Stupid last 6 overs last evening cost us in the end . Valiant knock from Rob Jones today. Glad that was De Grandhomme's last game. He won't be missed
  18. 506th in the queue sorted by 10.04. Happy Days heart-rate back to normal now.
  19. Went yesterday and sat in the pavilion so was eager to watch from that view. I still think Jimmy is bowling within himself but his accuracy and skill are immense. His ability to move the ball ball away, away, away away then bang in swing. Created 3 chances in his first 2.5 overs.
