  1. I wasn't there Saturday but I was rather nonplussed with the wankathon over Ream in the holding role v QPR. Yeah sure he was ok, but it's the easiest position on the pitch - a few nice touches and collecting loose balls should be the minimum we expect...

Was he that good on Saturday that folk are saying he must start tomorrow night??

    Even in a 4-4-2?

He has to start, as he seemed to be up for defending, at centre back also. Deserves his chance.
  2. Previously though I think we've all made calls on which formation we should used, be it 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 based on the personnel available. The key factor in the pro 4-5-1 argument (IMO) was that Mark Davies wasn't industrious enough to play in the middle of a 4-4-2.

The major problem now though is I don't think we can really favour one formation ahead of another because there isn't anyone playing well enough to be a 'first name on the sheet' and to adapt a formation just for them.

We go 4-5-1 and there's not enough creativity and the one up top won;t score in a month of Sundays. We go 4-4-2 and risk exposing an already shit defence even more whilst still having little to no creativity anyway.

Struggling to find any positives at the moment.

Cricket season is over. That's got to be a positive?
  3. Although, all the deals were good business at the time.

Completely agree, I wasn't upset about any going as they had gone stale for whatever reason.

My point being Id have everyone back which is odd considering I felt they were all spent leaving us.

  4. Regarding Jussi, Taylor, Nolan etc bar Nolan I wasn't too fussed about any of them going. But Ill hold my hands up and admit every single one of them is better than us now. Whether new surroundings or different training. Something has improved them because they certainly weren't playing for us like that at the end of their Bwfc career's.

  5. Another one for Lostock Arms. Me and a mate found out there was a small bar upstairs. Sneaked up and spent an hour or so pouring our own until landlord and some locals found us and asked us to leave.

Few in town for scrapping, too pissed and apparently passing snide £20s.

    Micky Thomas?
  6. We dont play as a team. The lack of passion is alarming and is summed up by the individual attitudes of players like Eagles who'd rather not challenge for a ball to benefit the team in case he gets a bruise. We need players who are willing to put their bodies on the line for the team. To fight for one another. Win as a team and lose as a team

Spot on. No 7 is utter dog wank and him being made captain was the highest piss take I have seen. Positives were Ream and Mills look like they can defend. For me they have to start at centre half Tuesday.
  7. I went for an interview once and was asked to:

    Dance like a chicken

    Tell a joke

    Sing a song

I thought there must've been a camera and Jeremy Beadle was going to pop out.

Anyway, I thought fuck it; sung a Bolton song iirc, told a really lame gag - knock knock - Dr Who I think, and did the chicken thing to the extreme that I pretended to lay an egg etc. I wanted the job and was a bit naive - 1st interview out of uni I think...

The guy that made me do those things is known to me now and is a lying, thieving scumbag

I push people in interviews how and when I need to; but belittling folk is just wrong

You broke me at my interview ha ha.
  8. Are you talking about the Talksport interview? If so, that's what Homers talking about, they've just showed the video of it (was a fans forum). Liked the way Redknapp told the fan straight, proved him right too!

    Dan loves Harry Redknapp.
  9. Would Eddie take the debt with him if this was the case? I cant see what return he'd be looking at unless he just wants shot. I just don't see this adding up with the talk of redevelopment and the free school etc. Saying that clubs are 'always for sale' at the right price or just always for sale like Everton.

  10. Just got back from Sa Coma in Mallorca...

    Fookin loved it.

We were all inclusive mind so probably could have been anywhere on the planet.

Anyone that has young kids/toddlers,and fancies a bit of sun an easy 2 hour flight away get to safari park hotel, loads for the kids to do,water parks etc, brand spanking modern rooms with itv so I could watch the chase whilst getting ready.

the ale was extremely drinkable and served in pint pots (always halves elsewhere I've been) and the food was spot on...

Unlimited sausage to the extreme in a morning.

Sorry for the thinly veiled I've been away post, but I muchos recommendos.

....oh and the club rep/kids entertainer birds from Holland and Slovakia were quite clearly after a pattern of the Union Jack forming out of spunk on their pretty little euro slut faces.x

Did anyone recommend you to go to a bar that has been shut for over 6 years ha ha?
