Those fuckers are in for a life of torture and deservedly so.

If it was in the UK, treated well and comfortable life in solitary.

Dont like Putin but you an eye for an eye and all that.

£8.20 to park, £20 in fuel, leaving at 12 getting back at 8 (admittedly with a family visit due to dog sitting requirement) makes it not the most appealing for another year of league 1.

think the problem is as I get older / more boring I am finding other things to do. I can go out running with my mates in the am, then go for brunch and still have a few beers and enjoy the match.

transport is a big factor.got the train for the first time in ages to a home game. Hardly any trains run, they block off the gate so you miss the only train unless you go Uber cunt (which I did) and open the gate. It still took 3 hours due to cancellations. Surely a special could run to Manchester post match

Completely understand mate. Go and need to do what you need to do😂

Whatever his potential, nobody's going to give Burnley all or most of their money back based on potential - obviously not going to get another Prem club this year, and no Championship club has that money to spend on a keeper.  I'd expect him to start as No 1 for Burnley in the championship and he'll probably build up a good reputation in a team winning most weeks.

Then they'll get promoted and he'll be replaced 😃

Bit like no one did with Ramsdale on a similar trajectory?

Im not sure why no one would pick him up. He may well stay but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility for me.

    probably

just get this in before one of the usual pricks does - i doubt he would have had anything to save, mind

Depends whether Jerome was in the squad😂

  5. Trafford is playing first team and on premier league wages. I’d say he got it bang right. Hopefully not next season mind. Would not be surprised if he gets picked up again in the summer. Good luck to him.

they scanned him and decided he could play through it on the mon/tues

he played the 10 mins at cambridge on tues

    that was it

apart from a ropey goal kick i dont think he touched it

I’d assume the warm up was more dangerous. Ie having balls fired at him etc

Hearing Evatt has fallen out with Thomason for sticking lit fireworks down his underpants in training.

More believable that Thomason has fallen out with Evatt as he stuck fireworks down his gruds

Sold 22,000 so far. Cant see another 3,000+ shifting for this.

Reading sold 1,000, so probably less than 1,500 away even with POTD.

    You’re better than this mate😂

1-0 off Jerome's arse will do

Absolutely but a statement of intent could well be useful going into Derby and Portsmouth playing. Plus we are owed one for that shit second half at their place.

it's not Santos though is it

I reckon it is for the exact reasons you mention. Short career and was surprised he signed a new deal as could earn more in champ etc.

  11. I’m all ears for a good one. Eating out Venus and braza good.

Take out del mondo was good but off the boil. Caesar’s not been for a long time. Flaming grill was good for a spell. Manchester kebabs reign sadly. Cheetham hill the best I’ve ever had

Looking at the remaining fixtures, if Lincoln carry on as they've been playing recently, they've got an excellent chance of finishing 6th at the expense of Oxford and Stevenage.

In their last seven games they've won 6, drawn 1, scored 22 goals and conceded just 1 - the kind of end of season form we can only dream of.

Which makes me wonder about finishing 3rd in the league...

We can look at where Derby and Posh might drop points, but ultimately we need to take care of our own form and start winning again, ideally as convincingly as Lincoln are doing. Hopefully the break will give us a reset.

If we are worried about Lincoln let’s just be done with it and call it a day. They are having a bit of a run. I’d happily take em if we do end up in play offs

We went to a family wedding on our lasses side just after we came out of the last lockdown. The only time I'd 'met' the groom was on drunken zoom thing over christmas, and literally the first thing he said to us was that covid was bollocks and he refused to let their kids wear masks.

So I was pretty wary of going to the first post-lockdown event with a bunch of covid deniers.

When we got to the pub pre-wedding there was a conversation going on about a funeral that'd just happened. Turns out the best man had died of covid a couple of weeks before the wedding. No doubt changed a few attitudes.

Mixed in with feeling sad that a young bloke had died decades before his time was relief that they'd all vaxxed up as a result.

Yeah proper shite that another life had to go.
You must feel incredibly stupid when of being of such a staunch opinion that you have to tell everyone, thinking you're Roger Cook and are the only keeper of the truth.
Think it’s perfectly natural to have doubts etc. 2 different things.

Crossing over into the other thread, with this comment, but it poses the question as to what the purpose of Charles joining up with NI was?

I’m hoping the Stevenage does another 90 with a slight injury for Friday

Add that 160k to normal numbers though and its a different story.

Also, do 82 year olds not matter then?

Defo seems to be conflicting thoughts on how everything went down as to whether you lost someone or not?

Completely understandable but I find the views of ‘low numbers, just a flu etc a bit thoughtless when people engage in conversation.

250k a year wow absolutely bonkers

money well spent for about 5 decent games

In fact ignore me was working it back to front. Was £200k a year. Just cheered you up with £50 bags saved 😂

Haven’t they got a wage cap in place?

No idea. Just remember thinking that it was incredibly low what he said. Not even sure it’s right.
