I remember that strike, that would of been a nightmare. I remember queing for petrol for about 3 hours to fill up 27quid. Didn't we play Grimsby away in what I think was the.lowest championship gate that seasonUsed to be Gravesend, but changed the name a few years ago, still same ground though. Was down that end in 2000 working on Bluewater during the petrol rationing and our boss wanted us to drive to Barrow to do some snagging work after we had finished in Dartford on the same day. We said we would go up the day after.

Did anyone sing town full of buggerers, if anything it were bumders from what I remember. The funniest part was everyone running out celebrating the goal, then a lot of us went back in for a pint. I am converting a spare room into a man den have a 40inch tele hung a big L shape sofa and the going to the match painting. The plan is to get sky multi room in their, a beer fridge and a table football with a x box or PlayStation.
