  1. I hope the owls win tonight

seconded, their attempts at recruiting a manager have been shambolic, getting refused by all the clubs questioned. Long may it continue. I can still see a scenario where Kean has to come back as Blackburn can't pay his dismissal claim. This would be brilliant.
  2. I did shit myself a little bit when the lighter got thrown, blew up right next to me wondered what the fuck it was. Was expecting any minute them to come over that barrier, worst since Stoke that.

Them bully boy stewards are really starting to piss me off. The rocker lad who got thrown out in the second half, fucking right out of order that was. Yes, his dress sense is abit different but hes been sat there a few years now. All i saw him do was give abit of shit when the third went in!

I saw that, what was he chucked out for?
  3. You can't argue that he delivered some top times here, i was pissed off when he left, how he left etc but i suppose looking back i'd give anything for them days of doing Arsenal and co on a regular basis again. All is forgiven. Big sam in.

  4. On this day 13 years ago Sam Allardyce became manager of Bolton Wanderers.

Our current league position has many echoes of when he took over, and what a ride followed.

Intersting article in the standard especially re Burnley. Imagine if he'd have gone there after we poached Coyle. Boy,would those retards be laughing at us

Can't really argue with too much he says there! The thing I can't decide is whether every club he leaves goes down proves he's the business or gets out of a sinking ship at the right time.
  5.

i've seen that phrase used to beat gartside up

its usually followed by 'i don't want any of the names mentioned'

so, do we just appoint any old fcuker to stop it 'dragging on' or do we say, 'shut the fcuk up and wait while we get the right fella'

    i'd go for the latter

Absolutely, taking our time and assessing all potential candidates while having a experienced temp team only suggests garty knows he has to get this appointment bang on. I still live in hope of it being a name not mentioned.
  6. Now the players Twitter reaction makes sense. They simply didn't believe in Coyle any more.

This has been apparent since the Burnley game. Unless the half time team talk was give a pen away and concede straight after half time, then I stand corrected and they'd done a good job.
  7. Drivers approaching a roundabout in the left hand or middle lane. In the right hand lane is a large vehicle.

    The large vehicle drives on.

The other vehicle stops where it is because he, no fuck it, she cannot see whats coming.

The fact the larger vehicle is hindering your view but has started to go means there is fuck all coming from the right and even if there was it would hit said large vehicle.

Thus, you fucking clueless cunt, the large vehicle is sheparding your entry onto the roundabout and means the bloke behind you, fully expecting you to start driving, doesnt end up banging in the back of you.

Sort it or get off the fucking road you festering minge.

Well said, far more common than you think. Surely its obvious.
  8. He got about the pitch and put a foot in on occasions, that's as much credit as I can give him.

He also put in some very poor performances, and when you are playing that position you need consistency, something I am hoping Spearing will supply.

As regards Player of the Year, I don't think a relegated club should be giving that award out.

I'm also willing to give any of our players a fresh start, I currently have a downer on Andrews, Mills and Mears but more than willing to be won over.

Regarding Mears it will be interesting to see how he would play if he didn't have to play that whole flank on his own. I'm still undecided on him.
  9. didn't pratley contribute to getting swansea up

now, he's at a team flirting with relegation and 'shit'

they all start afresh for me, now that the clueless one has gone

It has to be a clean slate for everyone surely, we saw a completely different player in elmander after a change in management, lets hope we finally start to see what those Swansea fans were saying about how good pratley was when we went down there.
  10. Petrov for me. Thought he did his job week in week out and really upped the ante in the final third of the season. As much as I don't rate coker he was certainly up there as he always worked hard. I think as previous posts have stated it wasn't difficult to be up there last season.

  11. What's the consensus of people or is it a load of different names being banded. Whoever we get in, you get the feeling it won't be universally popular like oc's appointment.

  12. Dougie Freedman now second favourite on sky bet...

Any substance to this or just flurry of bets shortened the odds??

seems to have done a good job at palace and fits the 'young and hungry' bill garty is supposedly looking at. All speculation like all the other names though I'm guessing.
