  1. Automatic promotion this year and then we can win the League 1 Play Offs next year when the pressures off.
  2. Hopefully we put a decent run together. It’s easier to buy into a management style if it’s producing results.
  3. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/19029682.horwich-council-asks-government-review-bolton/ Horwich Councillors looking to cut ties with Bolton. One decent cup run and they want to join Chorley.
  4. I think they’ve had to adapt and get their beer online. Bad to the Bone is more malty and the Mild/Port o’ Call are good if you like darker beers.
  5. Stocked up with a full selection of Bank Top. Got to London in less than 48 hours from ordering it, starting off with Flat Cap.
  6. I believe I contracted it towards the end of March. Tried to donate plasma the week before last, my blood test results came back confirming I had antibodies so I did indeed have it (worst I’ve ever felt, so no surprise). However my antibodies weren’t strong enough to donate plasma but I still have them in my system.
  7. Well hopefully that removes any lingering doubt about the current squad getting it together. We need a very active transfer window and Evatt deserves a crack at it. Doyle really is a cut above the rest in this league and priority number one should be getting the ball to his feet in the box.
  8. Always struggled with watching NFL until this season. Never gave it the time of day due to the perceived lack of fluidity with all the commercial breaks. However I thought if I picked a team and backed them with a bet this would help me get into it. It has. My sister lives in Toronto and watching the Leafs is always a highlight of going over. So I thought I’d pick a team relatively close by incase I ever fancied going to a game. The three nearest are Detroit, Bills and the Browns. In the end I opted for Bills purely on driving distance from Toronto. 25/1 at the start of the season. I can’t see them beating Kansas but I’m definitely enjoying the journey.
  9. One of my colleagues has just tested positive. Got it through his child in the nursery (London).
  10. Hackney Wick is also worth a mention. Howling Hops and Crate Brewery are both excellent places for a drink by the canal on the edge of the Olympic Park.
  11. Both parties practicing the art of brinkmanship before a last minute deal... I think I’ll bulk buy chorizo just in case.
  12. I can just see us lining up against Chino’s at Wembley in May
  13. It sounds like they need to get comfortable with the external data before any corks are popped. Encouraging news though.
  14. We’ll need to score 4 to get anything out of this. Win.
  15. Fairly confident I had it back in March when it was rife in London. My symptoms were; shortness of breathe, fatigue/exhaustion, persistent cough. My partner had less severe symptoms but she also lost taste and smell. It took around two weeks to start feeling better and it came in waves, one minute I thought I was on the mend the next day I was twice as bad. @jules_darby - your symptoms sound fairly similar to mine, albeit I didn't have a test to confirm it. I'd just suggest getting as much water and rest as possible. All the best!
  16. Bad one to lose this. Expectations are creeping back up and we are playing a team that would appear to have had very little preparation for today's game. Win 3-1, Two for Delfouneso and one for Sarcevic. Pitch forks stay in the shed.
  17. I’m in danger of enjoying this
  18. Comte and Gruyere both ace with beer. Lancashire on toast. Wallace of the clay variety should be shot for his affinity to Yorkshire cheese.
  19. There was certainty shoots of creativity when we did speed things up and Evatt’s track record at Barrow is evidence that this will work but it will take time. I genuinely buy in to what we are trying to do. I know our game plan is laid bare for all to see, but with time we will get better at it and hopefully we will start to create more chances for Doyle and Delfouneso. Agree that the defence needs to improve but we will get firing at the other end and hopefully these mistakes will not cost us games. This is League Two after all and we need to accept that the standard has dropped.
  20. Another +1 for miles better than last week but I suppose that’s not saying much. 89th in the football league but it’s always darkest before the dawn. It’s going to take time but Evatt will turn this around.
  21. When he inevitably leaves at half time will they let somebody else in?
