not a chance in hell is Dempsey driving up from Gillingham.....just a hunch but would not be surprised if he spent last night in the Hotel

Heard that he was forced to go into training at Gillingham, to meet the new manager before being allowed to drive up. So don’t expect this is imminent, as he would need a medical too etc. Unfortunately, Paul Scally is controlling this at the moment. It’s only done when it’s done, when he is involved. I wouldn’t take it for granted. 🙏

Yes, and he was poor at them all when asked to step up. He was asked to fill gaps, you can't expect that from a kid and its not fair.

Feel Darcy's the same, what is he? Attacking midfielder, winger, play maker?

    Deadwood

Declan John coming in means we can play Nathan Jones (hes been gone to long) in his proper positon, does this mean Kioso going back?

Agreed, playing Jones on the right, is like a double benefit at full back. Kioso could play further forwards if he stays, he wasn’t great defensively anyway.

  4. Inside track was that he didn’t do enough in training to force his way in. In fact was going backwards and really showing very little reason to justify being picked. This will give him the opportunity to prove himself, he’s under contract for next season too.

Think that's when we'll be able to throw our weight around a bit more.

    Till then we're bottom feeding.

Not so sure, we are totally skint and without investment, we won’t be throwing any weight about at all. In fact, we will have a bottom half budget!

Alnwick out of contract - as are Howard & Lonergan. One keeper I quite rate also out of contract is Jordan Archer. Could be worth offering any of these a short term deal

I would have to agree on Crellin, should have caught the loose ball on the 2nd goal and gave far to much space to hit for the 3rd. He is gifting goals every other game at present and while we are not scoring, that means a defeat.

  7. Hearing a whisper that we have signed a highly rated wing back, from a Championship club, on season long loan. Hopefully gives us a cutting edge and Doyle some service. No name until it’s confirmed.

We have been warned about Crellin from someone on here who’s seen him up close in training at Fleetwood over a long period and when he was on loan at Chorley. I doubt he is going to make it at BWFC or at this level. Think Gilkes is better option.

He is a young lad but it is a key position when you are trying to play out from the back and receive pressure passes from your defenders who are getting closed down. Have to be good on the ball and distribute well. Time will tell but so far, I’m not convinced.
