The thing was Clough was set up in the team under Lennon and then Parky (1st time round).
Messi at Rochdale would probably produce the same result (not that I am comparing Clough to Messi).
TBF the trains to and from the Uni have been horrendous I had to drive on Saturday (gave a couple of lifts ) and watch the match sober(very unBolton).
But you look at that team and the way they played my first reaction was almost a 90's 4-4-2 big man and little man up top with Ozzie going for challenges and headers he really had no right to go for but he did so fair dues.
He needed to be the focal point of the team when he played as Ozzie (have we settled on that yet?) plays off Magennis who knows Magennis is so much a better target man than Madine...
There is always the chance to play mind Bingo with the fuckers. Find the team (normally the twat will be wearing the top(Burnley are cunts for this at the moment)) think about one thing they will definitely come out with ie Citeh "massive" see how far in the conversation they will come out with said statement
There was no time on that trip anyone was sober on that trip but whoever tripped over the chain while managing to save the 2 pints they were carrying I doth my cap at
Brilliant result and goal.
Parky deserves plaudits for bringing Clough on, his vision and movement added to the team.
Clough needs to be a focus of a team something Warburton the exForest manager didn't understand (and a lot of managers in the English game)
Problem I have with N'Gog (Eagles, Knight the list goes on and on) I could work like a bastard and 3 generations of my family could do the same and give every last penny to the club and it still won't be any where near what the workshy shithouse took out of it.
