  1. Gives me a lovely warm feeling inside. Every step of their demise will be welcomed greatly in to my house and should be mirrored in every BWFC fans homes had a little bit of empathy for the shakers but it was still amusing even though we were bang in the shit. This is 100% joyous
  2. Be ST holders only initially. If that doesn’t drive people to get one to get their football fix along with this new wave of positivity, nothing will
  3. Last time they came was the FA cup game. Stayed in the griffin and turned over half their numbers who were coming back through town off the train got smashed to bits in the Bricklayers the season after and not seen since
  4. If I had a fucking clue who was in this league it would maybe register a click on the fuckometer
  5. They’ve had the upper hand a couple of times but as said above, picking off smaller numbers last few occasions they’ve been absolutely walloped. Bee Hive before the game and dual carriageway behind Scott’s after the game in particular last time around
  6. Couldn’t give a fuck about the club personally. But understand why the younger lot hate them. I grew up with the blackburn rivalry 20 or so years ago when we both went down and were challenging for promotion etc so they’re the ones for me it’s the fans that are the irritants. Similar to bury. But bury are like a little annoying fly you’re happy to swat away. Wigan’s are like a yappy little mutt constantly biting at your ankles. Eventually you just smash it right in the fucking teeth no matter how shit we are Bury are always worse and Wigan always try to be us. Bless em both

    Anelka

Full of praise for us as a club, rated Sam as up there with Wenger as the best managers he worked under and playing for us was the favourite point of his career remember just after we’d signed him we were at Charlton. He was just sat on the bench. Just kept looking over thinking “weve fucking got Anelka”

Aye he chose Everton didn’t he? could just see he (and Diouf to be fair when they played together) was on a different level to anyone else in a white shirt

Rolls Royce to this day I can’t believe we had him.
  10. But that’s what good managers do don’t they. Get buy in. Rioch did it, Sam did it. Players they had then had no more love for the club than the current bunch when they arrived players are saying the right things but only time will tell. Everyone has spoken very highly of Evatt so far so they must see it and have ‘bought in’ otherwise they could’ve gone elsewhere. In some cases for more money and/or a higher level
  11. Yep. Darcy isn’t a wide right of a front 3 man. He’s an “in the hole” behind Doyle man. Crawford understudy initially
  12. We’re very much in recovery with the attentive Nurse Shazza taking care of us that warm, reassuring feeling of being in safe hands
  13. Correct I’d rather have this “embarrassment of riches” over looking at the bench and in some instances the starting XI and thinking oh fuck me not him. Again.
  14. Well he got rid of Salford as he didn’t want / couldn’t fund it anymore so let him crack on. A month in with their Payroll figures and he’ll be gone Wigan are similar to Salford in the fact they generate so little income they’re always living beyond their means
  15. Thanks for the service JP. Tried to guide the ship when it was absolutely rudderless & provided some talented lads in to the first team. But jobs for the boys is well and truly over.
  16. Evatt doesn’t want any of the barrow lot. and why would he? We’re cherry picking the best of what’s available for this level anyway
  17. 3 players who played prominent roles in their clubs getting promoted from the very league we’re in no argument from me
  18. I know it’s early days and it’s only 2 examples (if you exclude Crawford) but it’s refreshing that players seem to be seeing the bigger picture when signing for us. All had offers from other L2 clubs & even L1 but have seen the “project” the club and management are putting together everyone so far wants to be here rather than rocking up because they’ve nowhere else to go
  19. Also noticed on that article the salary cap is for 21yr olds and above. So our young lot and their salary’s don’t count more wiggle room than we thought if it does get approved
  20. Evatt has mentioned he wants a strong spine to his team at this level either Lowe or Spearing would give us that. One of if Not the best defensive midfielder in the league. Above L2 they’re much of a muchness. We’d be moving onwards and upwards without them. no room for hanging on to past issues or sentiment. We need out of this league sharpish. That’s the bigger picture here
  21. Careful not to rake over old ground here because this clown has been discussed to death. But not caring about getting banned from the one place that pretty much gives you the direct tools to do your one and only job is stupidity bordering on complete unprofessionalism. All for a few likes on social media from grown men who wear replica football shirts gormless cock end
  22. Couldn’t give a flying fuck about the Swindon’s & certainly the Barrows of this world, irrelevant little pawns we knock over as we press on back to where we belong
  23. Admin is admin and brings -12. Standard yes it’s not Wigan’s fault as a club and fan base that their owner got in to some shit and chucked the club under the bus. However it wasn’t BWFC and our fan based fault Anderson decided to stop paying every fucker and would’ve happily desolved it to get money out of it himself all clubs have extenuating circumstances as to why they have gone in to admin. 99.9% of these are owner led. You let one off, everyone in future will appeal. it is and has to remain black & white
  24. Aye it’s all absolute bollocks. players are all over each other and not wearing masks yet get subbed off and go and sit 2 metres away from everyone else on the bench. 4th official wearing a mask when absolutely no one else around them is.
  25. That’s my thinking, the Seniors and other young lads who are now part of the first team squad can’t be on much more than that so it then creates wiggle room for the ‘big’ signings
