Looks like he’s pulled a deal off today…?

not going to help him, he cant sell the shares for 6 months and cant raise money against said shares, so he in the same position as he was yesterday except anther 100k interest as been added to the bond price

    He’s worth $2.5billion

a piffling $500million should barely be missed, surely?

Unless he’s lied about how much he’s worth? He’d never do that though…

He has said this morning on truth social that he HAS $500 million in cash, so the bond should not be an issue then, while at the same time his lawyers are front of the appellate court telling them he doesn't have the money, someone is telling porkies

My brother is an estate agent in Sydney flogging the new build flats to Chinese folk to rent out. The mortgage hike hasn't stopped them fuckers. Still having yacht parties in the harbor and splashing the cash.

    Not jealous at all 😁

Cant build houses quick enough here in Houston, the price of new build keeps going up before they start. They mainly start at 300k and up into the millions.

Ah OK. In that case Tyldesley, I apologise for being an arse! 😁 I thought you were on about us Brits!

No worries, nearly all mortgages over here are fixed on the rate you took them out at, you can have a 15, 20 or 30 year mortgage. You can can also, if you can afford it pay bi-weekly which reduces the mortgage length (you pay 13 months instead of 12), in my case it knocks off about 13 months on an 15 year term. And if you say have taken a loan out say 7% there is nothing stopping you refinancing  when the rate gats to say 3% and that will lock that in rate in the for the full term of the loan.

A bit like the Uk then or Europe or the rest of the world really. Nothing to do with politics.

Ive only got my mortgage as a major out going, was thinking about paying it off, but my mortgage is 3% so the money makes more in the bank, all 3 cars are paid for, nothing going out there, just took a staff job with a massive pay rise and they pay the 15k a year medical insurance, so I save that too, Would like to change my car but not paying 4.5% interest I will wait until it drops to 0% again and it will

I do. Are everyone better off since Biden took over. Mortgage wise?

if they had a mortgage then yes, if they got a new mortgage probably not but that's a personal choice (dont have to move house), same as buying a new car at high interest rates and then complaining, personnel choice.

I’m guessing you don’t have  a mortgage and are a saver.

Ive got a mortgage , but I've a feeling you have no idea how they work over here

Dunno, maybe they were trying to fly over the beautiful wall the Mexicans paid for in Colorado?

Got to remember that Colorado does share a boarder with New Mexico, easy mistake to make if you are as think as pigshit.

Also remember the other week Trump thought Nicky Hailey was in charge on Jan 6th, not Nancy Pelosi, again easy mistake to make, there look so much alike uncannily so.

Investigation by his own justice department concludes that he did exactly what they've been hounding Trump for, but there's no point pressing charges as the jury would not find him mentally competent to have known what he was doing.

Feels pretty unlikely he makes it to November.

Can argue about court cases and juries etc, but as long as prosecuters are elected there will be concerns.

I don't follow it closely, but there have been suggestions that case(s) were heard in New York deliberately as it is a heavily democrat area, hence a reflection on the jury.

I'd hate law officials to be elected here, though without doubt some abuse their position.

heard in New York because that's where the crime was committed

You are incapable of seeing past what a left leaning media is spunking down your throat.

Weaponising the judiciary will come back to haunt them, mark my words.

Biden is not a nice old man as will out eventually. Hates the UK.

He was found guilty twice by a jury, 12 of his peers. In both cases they listen to the evidence and a. said that he sexually assaulted the woman, and b. the look at the evidence and found him guilty and the jury decide that he must pay 83.3 million, not the judge, father Christmas or some other boogie man that the right puts forward, the jury found him guilty twice.
