I'd be very surprised if this isn't in the 12.30 Saturday slot.
And Bradford away the same 😬

Absolutely unbelievable turnaround. In Italy watching some farmers league, last I saw we were 2 down. Bit later on we check again and its 3-2! Brilliant stuff.
It could be on
It might be on 🔥

Some interesting bits about Tobias Phoenix in this.

In, not been since they swapped the away end to the opposite side.
Some would say that removes Port Vale from their 92 until its rectified.

A bit of international break reshuffling from next season.

He still rates Starmer.
I'll try not to be, we'll all continue to bow down to your pseudo-intellectualism on this and every other subject instead.
Of course, this is all part of a meticulously thought out masterplan by a group of brilliant strategists, how silly of us.

I've read there's some RAF/RN F-35's in the mix with that lot, possibly a combat debut for them.
F-35 gets major grief from people for how disastrous its development was but its a seriously capable machine, and loads of its capabilities still apparently a secret.
And just read from an account that can track messages sent to aircraft text message systems, someone has messaged the RAF tanker "just for awareness you are currently showing on Flight Radar"!

Obviously, as Russia are getting pumped in Ukraine and their economy is on the brink of collapse. Let's hope China and/or India don't get their balls tickled. All it takes is one nutter to do a Gavrilo Princip.
Would it really surprise anyone if, under the present conditions, "we" opted for the tactical nukes before the other side did.

It's interesting that Trump curiously made no mention of encouraging the Iranian protestors to rise up today, and I think Hegseth went even further in stating the strikes are not about regime change
Someone must've had a word
Or, and I'm not joking, they've forgotten about that bit.

I have read that Israel went for it on their own and effectively took the US along with them due to circumstance. No idea if that is true though.
Getting rid of the evil head shed is obviously good but if there's no coherent plan then maybe not so much. Plus it would seem contingency plans within Iran are for lower officers to fire at will which makes it more difficult to contain.
Fingers crossed those F22's locate plenty more fire locations and the rest can clear them up sharpish.
Tactically and hardware wise I'm not concerned (though for the first time I can ever remember they're talking about US munition stocks potentially running out).
They can go scud hunting, or the equivalent, till the cows come home, lay waste to everything theyve got, its the geopolitical side of it thats the issue.
I dont say it lightly but this is the first time I've ever had an almost existential worry about a foreign conflict.

Most leaders will lean on people with superior knowledge, skill and experience and give them autonomy to make informed decisions and feed that back.
Problem with Trump is that he likely believes that there’s no single person more informed, more intelligent and more experienced than him in absolutely any given topic.
Its possibly an over simplification, but the general feeling I've seen from commentators is that he was held back in his first term because there were adults in the room, ie people who had been there seen it and done it, in all walks of life including military.
They're now gone. And as you say, he genuinely believes he's a legendary strategist and thinker.
This is why I'm concerned, as I'm not sure where this ends.

No war has been won using air power alone
Exactly. Not one where regime change is one of the explicitly stated goals, anyway.
Which is why I'm worried that they've (USA) gone into this because theyve started to get drunk on the idea of their own power projection.
We know how self-aware they are about memes, shit posting and the power of social media etc... and I genuinely think one of their prime motivators is "fuck around, find out". Nothing more, nothing less.

I know we were told not to long ago that their nuclear program had been totally obliterated, and they'd been set back decades. Unless that wasn't true of course...
I want someone to put that question directly to Trump, or that lunatic Hesgeth.
Secretary of War, my word.

I dont usually worry about these things, but this one has got me pretty concerned.
I've no doubt whatsoever the people doing the fighting are supremely competent (bar a Kuwaiti Patriot missile team), it's the people doing the strategising I'm worried about.
I've a bad feeling they just really get off on being able to command people to blow shit up.

My first thoughts were friendly fire.
I doubt Iran has such an anti aircraft set up capable of reaching so far. Especially now.
As you say, reports suggest that it is.
If those images of an American radar being destroyed are accurate, then that won't help matters.
Jesus, 3 shot down to friendly fire in such a short period is unprecedented. I would not want to be the air defence commander on the other end of the phone to whichever US official calls them about this!

Aye seems more likely friendly fire, must be chaos at the moment to make that mistake twice!
I can imagine US will be fuming, especially the crews.
Its mad that in this modern world of smart phones and social media weve already got footage of one of the planes being hit, and uncensored images of all the pilots/WSOs on the ground. One of them is being made to surrender! Not great for security really.

American fighter jets seem to be getting shot down over Kuwait.
Iranians must be good snipers
Friendly fire from the reports I've seen, possibly 2 shot down as well.
They could do with not having SA and the rest of them join in otherwise that airspace is going to become even more of a mare to manage!

It has been cancelled.

They haven't been confirmed but they're broadly the same every year. First leg Friday-Sun and the second midweek. 10 days off before the final.
All at dogshit times for TV. So get ready for a Friday night or Saturday morning in Stevenage.
Fine by me, only 45 mins away.
They're a faff especially with the daft allocations, but I think i prefer having a week between legs rather than our 90s play off campaigns of only about 3 days between them.

That deflection at the end, fucking hell.
