  1. Horrible isn't it - they say it would have been instantaneous but even so . . . Sure I read that a chap wearing one of the early diving suits was completely sucked back through the air pipe when someone on land reversed the pressure. Like that scene out of Under the Skin . . . As for the last bit that's purely for the fuzzy tingle times
  2. Another one for listening to someones mix tape on a Walkman at school They were funny in my early teens but would be cringe-worthy now I reckon. Sweaty Betty and the one about McDonalds and root beer were faves and I still think the title 'No Sheep till Buxton' is genius
  3. It's a nice spot but I got a bit fed up with the trendy, Guardian, beard and roll up vibe that was ever increasing. Used to like Sat pms though, down to Barbikan for a top notch hot dog then in the bars for a few scoops and a perv Folk were paying nigh on quarter of a mil for an old red brick terrace - mental
  4. I thought it hilarious - she was asking for that to be fair. Both cnuts
  5. Aye near where it crosses with Wilbraham Rd (Morrisons)
  6. Just for you I admit I find the Gallacher styled 'todayyyy' quite funny
  7. Re the OP question: I have a bizarre fear of being stranded in the middle of the ocean. Nothing and no-one for God knows how far and a dark watery abyss below where everything is waiting to take a chomp out of you, dead or alive . . . shivers That lass that was half sucked out of the plane window a while back was pretty grim. Was it on here recently about those English divers (80's) in Scandinavia who were basically sucked through a pipe due to pressure when diving off a rig. My word, I had a google and the pictures are ones I now wish I hadn't seen .
  8. Probably. He even had the Victorian garb going on as well ha ha I never bought one - I favoured a warm croissant and a brew from the Co-op to start the day
  9. Blondi, have you had them back yet? If not can you claim from Royal Mail as they were signed for or as suggested contact police for fraud?
  10. I use it a lot, never had a problem to be fair but sympathise. Stuff like that is really annoying.
  11. Mrs loves em, we have loads. Supposed to help you sleep - must say that I quite like the smell of them but haven't put a bunch in my pillow case . . yet
  12. I prefer a potato cake to be honest but do enjoy a crumpet. You can control the level of butter on a PC but crumpets just gobble it up so you keep spreading then bite into it what has become a buttery sponge When I lived in Chorlton a few years back there was a lad who rode round on an old style bicycle selling crumpets from his bike. Only in Chorlton but fair play for the idea. No-ones beating the boiled spud van on Bury Market though
  13. Aye Warburtons are making crumpets again thank the fcuking lord
  14. Yeah they are and they always seem to be about at weddings therefore increasing the risk of a greasy stain on the suit. I'm shocked that you don't like cheesy crisps . . . especially nachos! Is it a crisp or a 'chip' though? Hmmm Life's tough these days
  15. All very grim. Read that the coach will face charges if/when he gets out! What was he thinking?
  16. What about these parsnip, beetroot and the like 'crisps'? RRP about £4.99!
  17. Corner shop near me sells frazzles and a shit version of wotsits. (about 50p for a massive bag) I think they're ace but feel proper dirty after eating them
  18. I'm the same. If we beat Sweden I'll be officially excited and allow myself to give this rumour some consideration . . .
  19. It's a fair point. I like it as an idea but it needs a fair few runs with a hot iron before it's reet. A WC was not the place for a test run
  20. Delivery wasn't quite as good as it was prior but God knows how many were being nipped, held etc
  21. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44726669 Very humble again yet confident with it And a mention for Bolton Good egg our Gareth
  22. Good call but last packet I had were a let down
  23. Yes. Not sure about puffs though. I like Doritos but prefer some supermarket own brand ones to actual Doritos. Cheese flavour all the way
