  1. Be very interested in the outcome. In similar news, i see the BBC are getting pelts for their handling of the Yewtree investigations. They basically pulled a massive Tommy Robinson
  2. "You see, even that Michael brown of Wanderswhizz fame understands me!" That's Mr Trump talking, just to be clear
  3. And this is the crux of it - educated, middle class types are generally far removed from any effects. Those in poorer areas see the social changes close up. In my current job I go to many different schools and the problems (challenges, i should say ) faced by inner city, multi-cultural schools are much bigger than leafy, rural or predominantly white ones. Of course, you're not allowed to talk about this . . . and it's literally dismissed from those on high! It's not about race, religion etc it's about culture(s) - something that has been willfully ignored. Add to that less resources, usually for the poorer kids, and you see why folk have issues. I'm all for diversity, it's dead good innit, but I still see unchecked immigration as a terrible idea.
  4. Cheers - not a Sky mon so usually get a week Now TV jobby for the majors. Prob just watch highlights and wait for the weekend coverage and save a tenner and I could listen to Alliss' sexist rambles all day Didn't the BBC get another one of the majors last year - PGA rings a bell?
  5. I'll see your 40 mins and raise you and hour and ten! This was a Wednesday pm and I waited for one full cut and a half finished job. A corpse would have been quicker. My buzz cut then took less than 5 minutes!
  6. As it does the other way, surely you can see that?
  7. This. The last thing the world needs now, or ever, is more division. If folk are worried, rightly or wrongly, about immigration, terrorism and such it's not really wise to dismiss fears of large swathes of people and ridicule them - even going as far as labeling them racists/xenophobes. Better to acknowledge and openly discuss. Trump, like any good businessman, saw an opportunity and took it.
  8. A very clever manipulation of the English language?
  9. A comeback ha ha! Never knew it was a thing - that's tonight's entertainment sorted then
  10. Do you think it shows that nurturing English talent can yield good results over splashing cash about on Johnny foreign types? Also had a decent manager there and settles set up for a good few years which must help
  11. Made me think of two girls one cup that Possibly the most horrific thing I've ever seen and that's including some twisted stuff
  12. I fancy Rose . . . he's a love! A win gets him world no.1 and he's been in pretty decent form last couple of years - due another major. I've not checked but is it live on BBC? Last year I bought a Now TV package then realised it was free - doh! Escobarp - well jealous - would love to be there, mate
  13. Aye and the cadaver dog finding traces of a body . . . The case in Portugal is still open and the parents haven't been ruled out either. And why would any parent in their position dismiss some leads and not others? And that villa belonged to Clement Freud, grandson of that there other Freud fella - involved in Yewtree.
  14. Can't be arsed going into it all - I'm sure you know how Google works - there are some strange goings on around it all. That last bit - aye, only as a parent do I get that feeling. That they left their kids in a room where anyone could jimmy open a window while they drank and ate with other couples doing the same is why I find it even stranger.
  15. Taste like prawns, apparently I like insects/bugs. Spiders are amazing, watching one spin a web is a thing of beauty but some I've seen in tropical climes have made me rather reticent to get too close. Scorpions as well - watched one get 'taken down' by an army of ants once. I'm clearly sad as fook but I was gripped and watched them for about an hour. Used to love sitting in a hammock of an evening in Asia and watching all the bug life fly round the outside lamp - like a real life Planet Earth and much better than the TV. You could see the food chain in action - usually resulting in a fook-off lizard appearing at the end of the night if you were rural. A fella I know was hospitalised from a horse fly bite when out golfing t'other day - anything that flies and bites/sucks blood is a turn off.
  16. Had a very embarrassing moment in Blockbusters once. My password was after my Chinese birth year - monkey, as it happens. Anyways, on a busy Sunday pm with a big cue behind me the black tiller asked me for my password . . .
  17. Thought you meant my post for a minute Yeah, very, very odd. Could be grief as I say but I just don't see any 'normal' folk coming out with that or acting the way they did.
  18. We'll see, I suppose - he's looking more likely to get in by the hour with these cockwombles currently ballsing things right up in charge. He'd never be able to push a full on communist agenda in the UK (I'd hope!) but ideas like privatising national institutions, commitment to NHS, education etc are things I believe in. However, you can't simply go all Robin Hood or grow a magic money tree as I realised when I was about 6 . . .
  19. While we're here . . . Watched a thing about Maddie McCann the other day. Remember thinking at the time something about her parents seemed off, as did the amount of help they received (18 mil of tax payers money I believe?) Anyways, given they have lost their little girl you have to tread very carefully and accept grief affecting behaviour etc; but I don't know, there are some clearly bull shit rumours out there but something definitely seems off with those two. Is it just me? The way she describes her daughter's privates in her book is, frankly, weird as fook.
  20. "My son was in the first program - may he rest in peace"
  21. Will anyone be arsed - in Rotherham that is?
  22. ha ha Don't get me wrong, deep down I'm a lefty with socialist type leanings. I am, however, also a realist and like to think somewhat pragmatic - All the lefty ideals that I see positives in will only work if folk agree to them and their principles willingly. As it is most folk usually want to get more than others, as is their nature, so any kind of forcing the issue a la communism, never works. Similarly, unchecked capitalism will ultimately create monopolies for a wealthy few in a dying world. A middle ground is the answer which is why any kind of lob sided thinking or view points are met with scorn by me. As I allude to, if Corbyn could ground some of his ideas in reality I'd be right behind him; he can't, so he's somewhat of another loon as it stands.
