I wrote that without clarifying the subject , i have travelled a lot and enjoyed other countries and cultures. When global warming and co2 emissions became news worthy , because the travel experience got worse every year i decided to no longer holiday abroad . i am not convinced that flying damages the world as much as some groups claim , it was almost unnerving sitting out during Covid when there were no planes flying. Did the fact that millions of tons of co2 werent released into the atmosphere have any effect on global temperature ? I dont know ,but i would sooner holiday here , Northumberland and Scotland this year and last , but give me The Lakes , Yorkshire Dales , or Cotswolds anytime over cheap sunshine. just a personal preference , not a criticism of anyone elses preference
