  1. You know what you wanna do with that right? you wanna put a banging donk on it
  2. Cancelled mine day before I am ashamed to say Figured my £50 wasn’t going to save anyone, plus could’ve always repented
  3. It could be the 1664 talking, but this has endeared him to more... he’s standing with his comrades, yet not forgetting the fundamentals that afforded his privileged position. Not sure if that’s the lads own shirt, but I understand club shop got a old stock out at the weekend... wouldn’t be surprised if he sorted it. I’ve been derided for championing Wheater before, but whatever scorched skeleton pulls itself from the embers of this car crash, it will be a long time before we someone like him again
  4. why do I get the feeling you will be inundated with requests? possibly some about the ticket
  5. think they were promoted via play offs, then relegated twice, before having the second relegation suspended... so league 2 on -12?
  6. I've been expecting, and trying to come to terms with it... now I feel physically sick

  10. how much lost revenue would a closed hotel/stadium cost us? surely those outgoings are going to be essential?
  11. Shirley they wouldn’t do that at this stage? Our last two games are as relevant as naval fluff to a strippers tassel?
  12. Eh, iss okeh mate, I gotta loadsa money innit, I’ll cover the debt- it don’t matter how much... 14m? ciao
  13. how do they call it at such short notice? I haven't thought it would go ahead in the normal sense since the strike was announced- I still feel it will be a behind closed doors jobby (red button optional)
  14. My lad was due to play against the u9s tomorrow after they pulled out last week- he'll be gutted on different levels Without wanting to sound melodramatic or melancholic, this honestly reminds me of my folks being critically poorly in hospital; I agonised over both of them and ultimately just wanted the outcome to arrive- end the pain for us all whatever it may be. I watched my dad deteriorate and pass, and it hurts like hell everyday. I watched my mum pull through, but has never been the same since... she exists, but isn't the person she was, and we moved heaven and earth for her. I am grateful she is still with me, but often wonder whether her suffering is worth it to her? Ultimately, I suppose we cherish the moments, take nothing for granted, and whatever we have left... well
  15. after the hearing... might be an interesting evening; imagine the carnage (should the worse...) it would be bedlam
  16. My lads first ever match, day before his second birthday
  17. empty vessels and all that... right at home amongst the pages of the rag
  18. We did though; given that all seater stadia was a must, Burnden’s capacity would’ve plummeted. Now, Leverhulme Park... 😊
  19. Dean Holden, still have that snap ringing in my ear
  20. I’m not sure development was much of an option pal. It couldn’t get much bigger and it was fairly dilapidated.
  21. I tend to reserve Sluffy’s posts for the throne. If I’ve completed one, it’s usually time to head back
  22. My playing record at the ground P4, W1, L3, MoM1, GS3 I'll go in net though- got my own gloves which trumps ye lot of yas'
