  1. Getting back to the promotion and relegations , if you're if a certain vintage like meself then the only one I wasn't at was our first fall from the top division in 1964. Was only 7 but been there for all the rest and I think I'll be there on the grass in the rain tomorrow Mr Hugespunkbubble.

I believe Harrogate play in last seasons FA trophy final at Wembley on Monday

Surely this must affect there 2 league games against our championship rivals

Yes would have thought they'd have moved tonight's game further forward.

Oops forgot about him, or maybe I was deliberately trying to erase him from my mind

On a scale of 1-10 where would Parkinson and Hill stand on the Cuntometer?

Parkinson sort of did what it said on the tin, Hilly went to the top of the cuntometer and beyond.

Well it kind of of starting going tits up post Allardyce when we got Coyle and Megson in but things really started to crash and burn with Neil Lennon.

Personally think the worst of the lot was that fucking half wit Freedman, can understand the appointment of the others even though it all went tits, but him fucking hell, he had the tools to take us straight back up.

But I’m not complaining Ani. You and others are entirely entitled to your views, which I’ve never once questioned, other than to opine that not seeing and accepting the mistakes made does constitute to rose tinted glasses. That’s not an insult like F off you clown, or you’re a c—t. I’m just voicing an opinion which even Ian Evatt agrees with. What do you call it then when someone constantly and it is constantly, fails to do what they’re trained to do? When they do it time after time, I call that inept and so would my boss at work if I’d continually made the same mistake. How many times have we produced an excellent move and ruined it by either failing to pick out a teammate, hit the first man, or balloon it over the lot? We are bobbins at free kicks, corners and even throw ins, where we nearly always lose possession. Come on, be honest, it’s constantly we do it and that is what I’ve complained about.

Thats not being negative, or dismissing the fantastic run we’ve had, or labelling the whole team poor. It’s just pointing out some aspects of our game that professional footballers should be better at. Just saying, well these are L2 standard players isn’t an excuse when these are just basics even for kids teams. If it was just occasionally, I’d accept it but it’s every week. Yesterday, after we scored, Morecambe were gone, there for the taking, yet we completely let them off the hook and in the end, almost gave it away and it’s not just once. IE admitted his frustration about it in his post match interview so maybe some on here should be castigating him? This board is for opinions and if I just came on to slag the team, manager and club off all the time I’d expect complaints but it’s time some on here actually read posts properly before resorting to insults and swearing because all it shows is their complete immaturity and lack of vocabulary to post a reasoned reply. Maybe it’s just an age thing and the lack of respect generally some of these people show?

Mate if I could guarantee you a one nill victory on Saturday or you take a chance , what would you take ? .One nill ell dome right to the champions league final.

Was there a bigger twat at Morecambe yesterday than their manager, I know it's gamesmanship but he really needed good slap

    Yes mate those two commentators.

We did Mick Herron the "Slough House" the other day... better written than the earlier Mick Herron IMO.

The Spy & The Traitor by Ben Macintyre is a crackin' read.

My year included "V2" by Robert Harris, good historical novel but not up there with "Munich"

Also William Ryan's the "12th Department", pretty bloody like the others in the series.

An interesting little read (you can do it in one sitting) must be "The Order of The Day" by Eric Vuillard covering the diplomatic build up to WW2

Cheer Up Peter Reid.. I must admit to scan reading most of the Everton stuff but enjoyed his account of laying into Boris Johnson when managing a charity game

Ben Macintyre writes some good stuff, Agent Zig Zag one of my favourite reads.

  8. We have done remarkable well and I'm not as convinced as everyone else seems to be that we were a lot worse today, we came up against a team fighting for their lives who caught us cold with a brilliant finish that he'll probably never do again and if our goal had come 5 minutes sooner we probably would have found an equaliser.

Have you ever seen a team that’s worse at corners? We just kick them straight out now!

I've thought for a while that it's hardly an advantage and a long punt from the opposition goalkeeper suits us better, wonder how many miles Santos and John the Baptiste have done jogging up and legging it back all season and never got near an header.?

IE does well at spotting weaknesses so I think he’ll be saying just that

He didn't spot Crellins as quick as me. 🤗

Sounds like Veggie Vince had decided they were parting company at the end of the season anyway. Veggie man believes he's not the man for the final 6 games ... but his deputy is ??

Overlooking the fact that the players will be shaken by this. There will be players who'll be big supporters of that manager. They have just lost 5, drawn 1 of the last 6 ... & lost their top scorer.

Still an amazing decision. This division is full of unrealistic expectations.

That top scorer only bent his fingers back about 4 weeks ago , I'd er yanked em back into place there and then soft twat and whilst I'm at it why did he need a stretcher?
