I said mainly knee-jerk ramblings. Which it was. Most of it was comical. I get it that folk have opinions but the way some piped up you would have thought they owned a Cat 1 Uefa coaching badge. Knobs!
Since the final whistle last night I've read some fantastic meltdowns on social media. Some really top class stuff. Basically Wigan got lucky with their "game plan". We didn't. On two occasions, when we were in goals scoring opportunities, we took one touch too many and that was that. Opportunity gone. That's the way it goes sometimes. It stings. The match could have easily gone our way. The Post Mortems I've read since last night are mainly hysterical knee-jerk ramblings. Makes you proud.
I like Aggers. Critical or giving praise he gives his opinions after careful thought. If he is critical then it carries more weight than someone who barks loud on a regular basis.
I'm hoping that the big guns start firing in the 4th. But I'm thinking that they are fighting with the mental aspects that comes with a series of shit scores.
Watching the BAFTAs and they have just done a recap of the stars who have died over the past 12 months. Ryan O'Neil, that one past me by. December last year.
CT ran off with Steve Whitworths wife, June Whitworth. She worked in my bank and was a lovely lady to be fair. She use to get me free tickets for aways. I knew about his sad end 😢
When you've seen one AC/DC concert you've seen them all. No argument from me there. But the last time they toured and Axl Rose fronted the band he brought something different. It was a nice change if I was honest. Even if he didn't know all the words.
I would be willing to pay if it was Manchester. Day off work and back to my bed. Anyway, it's not so that's that. Like @embankmentsaid, it would be cheaper to do Dublin than London. Anyway, seen them enough times so not really pissed off about missing out this summer.
Love my big sporting events. There was a time when I was all over the NFL and the Superbowl. Blurry eyed for work the next day. But I just fell out of love with the game. It's odd that it should just disappear off my radar.
None of the above info you needed to know. I'm just sayin'
Them looking forward to it, fair play. Good luck with lasting the distance.
Bloke rang up BBC R Manchester after the match today. When asked if he was happy with the draw he had to think long and hard before he submitted an answer. The answer was eventually yes, but it was laced with arsenic. He then went on to complain about the way we played in the 9 mins at Cambridge. Fuck me, they walk amongst us.
RU don't have injury time. The ball has to be dead for the game to finish. I've seen RU games run over by a few minutes because of penalties. I won't lie it makes for good viewing because the game is close.
