  1. What a fucking goal that was
  2. Aye. Wish I could fit one here. Might have to hijack mother’s greenhouse. Sure she wouldn’t mind if her gardener convinced her
  3. I’ve grown all sorts over the years and have never varied from putting the seeds in a standard tray with a clear plastic lid and sticking them on a south facing window sill. Always sprouted and produced strong plants with good yields after repotting. Last year’s Scotch Bonnets were excellent This year’s plants have sadly already been consigned to the compost bin. Was getting good early fruits indoors but fuck me the gnat infestation was unbearable May try a really hot one but wait til May when I can keep them outside from the beginning
  4. Ah OK 👍 Edit: Company I work for stopped using FedEx a while ago after multiple issues and moved to DPD
  5. Lady who works for me won’t have vaccines as she had a very bad reaction as a child. Appears that she’s allergic to at least one of the constituents that is commonly used to make them
  6. Then that’s really shit service. Have you tried contacting the retailer? Your “contract” is with them and they are ultimately responsible for delivery. Pain in the arse I know but it’s worked for me in the past
  7. Aye I remember asking Mrs Manc if she knew her but she didn’t.
  8. Tip for anyone ordering stuff online When you go to checkout look at which courier they use Download the said courier’s app Track your delivery Use the app to then follow your delivery, divert, or delay if needs be Mrs Manc is in the courier business. Using apps is miles more efficient for them and you
  9. My dad was in the RAF in WW2. On the Hudson bombers squadron out of Gibraltar that were dropping depth charges on the U-boats based on the Bay of Biscay When he retired he did a degree in European History and Politics at Salford Uni. His thesis was The Dresden Bombings. Made grim reading. Not this country’s finest hour
  10. Longer than that mate. Married the first Mrs Manc in 1990. She lived off Platt Lane in Howfen. You could stand at the bottom of her road and see marker posts in the fields they’d put out back then
  11. Folk on here who’ve watched it and folk I know away from here as well. Everyone has a different opinion on each series as to which one is good and which one is bad. Will plough on through…
  12. McAteer on Undr the Cosh is decent so far. Lot of stories that have been aired before but love his respect for Rioch and how he acknowledges what he did for him
  13. S1 was good. Enjoyed it. Hard going but worth it. On to S2
  14. Not that I like to quote or allude to rat face but… Billion ha’penny bottle jobs in derbies our lot. Depressing
  15. No you had to look like you’d sourced your clothes from the local tip and drank paraffin
  16. The Disque Bleu were the Gauloise I used to smoke. White packet. Think there was also a blue packet. Same as you, the very thought of it now is horrific. There was no pleasure in them, it was all show
  17. Used to go in there late 70s/early 80s. As mentioned the smell was something else. It was the only place that I could buy Gaulouses and Gitanes when I was in my late teens sophisticated South of France smoking phase. The most rank cigs ever but it was the days of The French Connection
  18. Have to wonder what Traff’s thinking these days. Money wise obviously a great move but is he doing his reputation any good at all? Not his fault playing behind a shit defence but….
  19. Blimey!! Mystic Undies now
  20. Sadly that’s the truth. Ref was awful, penalty debatable, but they weren’t the main reason we lost
