Only 1 in 4 is avanti and that ls the 35m journey so unless folk hang about in Crewe which some will the 17.11 will be very busy

Does it really matter if you’re on the train for an extra 20 mins or so? The 17.11 will be too tight anyway, esp with a lot added on etc…

So get a couple of cans and amble back. What’s the rush?

Point taken re Avanti but there’s still 4 trains an hour. 😁

Is it going to be an arse getting the train back,

I’ve booked a parking spot but would rather train just bothered about coming back and being overcrowded with the lad

Crewe station is not an issue with trains, well serviced by Avanti.

Theres 4 per hour just to Picc after the game.

Wont take long at all to get a few hundred Bolton away.

6 min walk from ground. Spot on.

Im driving through with the boy myself.

Park near BMW garage or other car dealerships on the way in.

    Quick getaway after too.

  4. A lot of people seem to forget that this team we had pre January actually went 7th after we beat Shrewsbury in early October.

I accept that we have more strength in depth now, but we’re currently 11th.

We may never know the truth re Sarce etc but the whole thing derailed us for virtually 3 months.

Weve all been there though havent we?

Surely we'd rather some young scallywags make it a bit uncomfortable for away fans than them having free reign and wrecking the gaff like away fans have done for ages.

We have all been young and daft. Let em crack on, like you say they will come unstuck one day and grow up in seconds.

    Just like we did.

    You’re right……

    😎😎

    Indeed

Alot of our kids seem good at fronting from behind a line of police and then scatter when it gets real.

I have no clue what happened today mind; just saw copper action mainly

    Agree.

They will come unstuck away from home soon.
At the end of the day these young morons are making the match day experience worse for us middle aged guys.

    😳😳

Watched from a window at the ground and about 10-15mins after FT saw a load of police run down to the train station, and another lit legged it up to the roundabout and then up the main road to the M61 around the back of Scotts.

This seemed to be after whatever happened initially and it wasn’t clear where the 2nd mob of coppers were going, as there seemed ti be v little movement outside of Harvester, and we didn’t see them come back. They poss went down the hill to the station from the side for some reason?

    god knows…

Plymouth turned up @ Sunlun earlier in the season.

It’s a big city, they’re pushing for promotion, have a lot of lads and most won’t have been here before in this position.

Forget the notion that whoever comes here gets a slap.

Morecambe & your Cambridges might but don’t assume the claret mentioned earlier on was on a green shirt……

    I know pal, I edited it 😁👍

TBH, a lot of those defeats were before we got the new signings in January. I'm sure you'll agree with that.....

Yes I do agree but we went 7th In October when we beat Shewsbury at home, so the previous team weren’t all that bad.

There is one hell of a lot of improvement needed in order for us to challenge for the top 2, but I feel the play-offs should be within reach.

    Loving it….

    😂😂😂

  10. Disappointing result.

Anyway check out our form against the current top 8.

That’s the sobering reality for everyone who thinks next seasons play-off spot is virtually assured.

Take out Oxford and we’ve won 1 game and lost virtually all the others.

    1/1/10.

Surely he's a bit old for the egg & spoon 🤔

    😂

    Not him, he’ll be there.

    One of my others.

Getting some brownie points in as a maintenance review is approaching.

    😳

  12. I must be missing something here?

Sell out away end, in town early afternoon with no problems for our game there in August.

OK a few things were thrown during our home drubbing in October.

I may be unaware of some happening  but its hardly bloody Millwall v West Ham.

  13. It’s a farce and meant a lot of people missed the start, when you are rushing around anyway for a midweek game.

Same at the end, un-necessary delays.

People will tolerate it when things are going well, like they are currently.

When they’re not, they won’t and will vote with their feet.

It won’t take long, it never does, and then you’re in danger of alienating the very people that it takes a lot to retain.

Neil Hart you are a complete and utter wanker.

Well that was a game that could and should have been won in the 1st half, if 2 of our 4 first half chances had gone in, they’d have folded for fun.

Morecambes heads were down while it was still 0-0 after 30 mins, they couldn’t live with us, it’s like they were just waiting for the goals to go in & when the goals never materialised they grew into the game.

A freak of a match best forgotten.

Santos did very well for our equaliser.

Our wasteful finishing gave them something to hold on to and tbf, unpleasant though it was, i thought they did it well

Stocktons a proper handful, 11? Shithouse but fast as fuck

    They give it everything

Absolute shithouses but what else have they got

    In one.

When you have nothing, then give it everything.

They did and were unlucky not to win IMO.

The ref gave us everything, them nothing and in the END we were lucky to get a point.

We did nothing in the second half.

Games are rarely won in the first half.
