Him and Geoff Thomas were in Monteraze before the match.

In the days before selfies, I got a pen and paper from behind the bar. Went up to them and said 'autograph'

Sure replies De Wolf. I signed the paper twice, split it in half and gave them 1 each

    Remember that.

    You’re a funny guy 😎

    Portsmouth only need a point

If they beat us they win the league.

A draw will get them promoted if Derby don’t win.

A loss will get them promoted if both Derby and Peterborough lose.

    we've been gifted another lifeline

Surprised that Derby didn’t win that.

Win on Sat and it will go to the last game.

Another bloody opportunity but have we got the ability/mental strength.

    Time will tell.

Barnsley , Peterboro & Oxford can still pass us.

Yes but realistically only Peterborough will, hence 3rd or 4th.

We can still theoretically win the league, but we won’t of course.

Under 20k home fans for potentially our biggest game to date this season

lets get that south lower sold

At £30+ a ticket, not a chance in hell.

At those prices, they don’t deserve walk-ups either.

If we needed to win one game to get promoted wouldn’t you travel if you didn’t have  ticket. I would

    Yes I would.

Portsmouth wouldn’t be my chosen place mind.

  7. It will be very interesting to see how many have tickets they have in our end and also how many travel without tickets.

I would think, not too many on either count.

Should be a good atmosphere whatever.

If the Bolton team of the last 2 home games shows up, then we will beat Pompey.

Pompey deserve to be champions, as they've been the most consistent over the season, fair play. But there's no doubt in my mind that we can beat anybody at our best.

I agree but we simply have to beat them and the other 3 teams too.

Even that probably won’t be enough as I think Derby will win their last 4.

FWIW I really can’t see us winning at Peterborough anyway.

Our recent away form has cost us.

Incredible what happens to some peoples' brains when we don't win.

It’s even more incredible when people need prescription drugs to keep pretending they are alive.

Too many foreigners..... so he's relocating to Vietnam.  😂

Just showed your earlier message as we were talking  to 2 guys who live in Vietnam, but are here for holiday. Never met them before.

One just smiled knowingly and the other said “Another bitter English prick”.

Try experiencing life and travelling a bit.

    Just a thought.

Sooooooo not the greatest nation on earth then?

    make your mind up

some of us are prepared to stick it out, because some things are worth fighting for.

it’s a good job Our Boys didn’t all desert in 1942 when Hitler had the upper hand.

    🇬🇧

The “fight” was lost years ago.

“Sticking it out” is all it will inevitably be.

You only live once though dont forget.

    Anyway, each to their own.

This lot only won 2 in the last 10,  1 in the last 6, lost 3 of their  last 6 homes games, scoring only 4 goals in those 6 home games. It’s got to be 3 points hasnt it? Cant see the other teams around us dropping points today. If ever there was a " must win" game, this is it!

    Totally agree.

I think we will grind it out today.

Of those 4 I’ve only been to the Philippines. 24 hour layover in Manila. It was grim as fuck

    Agree Manilla is grim.

    Try Angeles City for girls.

Cebu or Subic (Bario Boretto) to chill.

Not as “safe” generally as the other 3, but I personally have never had any problems.

    Good one that pal 👍.

Only run I’m interested in now, is this 7 game winning run till the end of the season! 🤣

    Serious question.

Do you honestly think we can win even 6 of them?

Must admit, both places are very much on my "to do" list

I'm not sure I agree that the UK is "fucked" but it is going down hill - as a nation, we've probably had our time, and  our standing on the world stage is  slowly diminishing, but I'd not go as far as to say it's fucked. It might well be in 30/40 years, but I'll probably be dead by then, so don't really care :)  - as and when I can retire though, I'll certainly not be spending any winters over here, fuck that

Yes give them a try, easily do both in a 2 week trip.

Its the UK kids I feel for.

I wouldn’t be surprised if mine leave the UK too at some point.

Hope they do, but it’s their life and all I can do is show them other cultures & countries.
