A good rest, hopefully Charles back and a shit or bust mentality you just never know mate.

    Hope you’re right.

Can do without play-offs but beating Blackpool at Wembley would be nice.

    😊

  2. We wont win 6 from 7.

We are currently miles off it and haven’t played consistently well now for months.

    Not a chance in hell.

Massive untapped potential at Birmingham.  Capable of huge backing but for my 50+ years of following football they've always been 'meh'. Perennial division 1 or 2 strugglers.

    Bigger than us though.

I watch Davis Diary on YT.

    Film every blues away day.

What a craic them lads have.

BTW, I think we’re fairly similar taking out the name Birmingham as the second city, which distorts their support for the bigger games.

save your cash for the play offs

Bet you’re not saving yours though 😆

You are right though, 3 long expensive trips to come.

I’m personally done with aways until the play-offs.

You just need to look at our away record this season against the better teams to see where our problems lie. Taking the best “other” 10 teams in this league ie 1st (Pompey) to 11th (Wigan). The records of the top 3 are:

    Pompey - P8, W4, D4, L0. Points: 16

    Derby - P9, W5, D1, L3. Points: 16

    Bolton - P8, W1, D2, L5. Points: 5

    That’s just not good enough.

Our home record helps claw back some points, but not nearly enough.

Yes not very good for a team that is supposedly the best on the division.

We’re not of course, but we’re even further behind in mental strength.

Winners find a way, just like Derby did, with 3 injuries during the game too.

Had that happened to us, it would have been our excuse to lose.

If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

It’ll be very interesting to see what happens if we don’t go up. Both from the board - targets were clear and very public and they have backed Evatt, it’s all been very nicely nicey so far but we’ll find out if they have a ruthless side, and from Evatt himself - it’ll be essentially the first season he has underachieved and from how he has been in the press for a while now I personally don’t think he’ll take it very well.

He’s a bottle job, just like his team.

    If it’s play-off failure - he goes.

Winners make tough decisions in the best interests of the club.

I really dont think he can handle the pressure anymore though, so it will be nicely dressed up.

  7. 12games -17 points.

    Won only 4 of those.

    1 away win in SEVEN.

Only TWO clean sheets in those 12.

We have imploded when it matters.

Those are the harsh facts, dress it up however you want.

But hey, why let the truth get in the way of a good story.

After the Blackpool and Wigan games I was completely fucked off with the gutless performance's but today I thought we played well and with a bit of luck we would have taken the 3 points.Im still baffled by how poor Derby were but sometimes you don't get what you deserve

So when we play badly we lose.

When we well play we lose.

    Laughable.

Where’s all the oxford happy clappers now?

Told you that result was a false flag!

But I got called a miserable cunt!

Not easy being right all the time!

I reallly wish it didn’t care either.

  10. Was watching CV video when Vale were there a couple of weeks ago.

    Station overkill for them too.

Like others have said, I personally would avoid.

Enjoy the day girls & boys and let’s just pray we show up.

They don’t get any bigger than this.

    Based on what exactly?

    Attendances primarily.

Big history, Clough factor & Div 1 winners.

Ask 100 people with any football knowledge, who is the biggest club in L1, 90%+ will say Derby County.

I don’t understand where Derby get this Billy big bollocks attitude from.

3 major trophies in their history and just under 42k for their highest ever attendance.

Well let’s put it this way.

If we don’t belong in this division, they certainly don’t.

Biggest club in the league and by some distance.

On the flip-side, derby are MUCH more able to win the headers and the second balls. They're set up this way. Win the ball and spring quickly and effectively.

    Good Manager at this level.

Knows how to get out of it.

Pain in the arse are night games, usually home around 11ish, up at 5.30 so knackered by the time I do get to sleep.

Not missing home games because of it though. Away games, generally speaking can gtf but I usually do 1 mid week longhaul a season and stay over. Shame it was the midweek swim in Cambridge this season

Thanks for sorted my lad out on Tuesday 👍🏻

For me it's more a case of let's see if we are as good as we know we can be

    I e.

    Last night

Take your point, played extremely well.

I follow the book though and right now Derby are twice as likely as us to finish top 2.

Were the same price as Peterborough.

I wouldn’t take a draw on Saturday, if it’s a draw, so be it. But whoever loses has to stew on it over the break and it could affect them going forward. Us or them bring it on.

The other 4 teams play on the 23rd March.

Assuming it's all about second spot isn't he right way to look at things.

Pompey also have some difficult games, and if we play as well as we did last night against them, and win, that would be 3 of 6 points clawed back.

Should they slip up against another, whilst we win, then we're level on points.

Goal difference would also be in our favour at that point.

Lots of ifs and buts, and time will tell, but it certainly isn't over.

Not a chance in hell we’ll catch Pompey.

1 away win in 6 against inferior opposition to the next 4 teams, gives me little confidence of top 2.

Anyway if we are going up, it will be dependent on these aways.

Let’s see if we’re as good as some believe we are.

  18. Win. It’s on.

    Lose. It’s off.

Draw. I personally wouldn’t take it and here’s why. That 2nd spot has 4 teams going for it, not just 2. We would then have to win at least 5 of the last 7. It could also mean that we are down to 5th before we play again at Stevenage. Games in hand, as we have shown are worthless.

Anyway have we got it in us to win a real biggie away from home?

I honestly don’t think we have.
