  1. He'll probably be announcing the teams from Stevenage on Monday.
  2. Clocks go forward this weekend - something to do with that?
  3. Stick Pav in as chairman whilst we are at it.
  4. I'd say we need to win the next 3. Derby with a tough Easter (Blackpool H, Portsmouth A) and then when we are at Bristol Rovers both Derby and Peterborough have no game due to the pizza/car cup final on the Sunday and play the following midweek.
  5. 2-0, Collins and Dempsey. Coupled with Derby 1-1 Blackpool. Peterborough will smash Carlisle.
  6. Other half has family in a little village a few miles outside, went down Friday came back Sunday. Ropey as fuck. My father-in-law had £10 on Ishmael Miller to score first, Bolton to win 3-2 at about 290/1. He's never forgiven Jermanie Beckford for passing it to the keeper in injury time when we had a 4 on 1 break from their corner.
  7. Saturday was deflating and if we're being realists then the Top 2 definitely isn't off although we're finally at a point where other results elsewhere have to go our way. Derby have favourable fixtures (particularly the final 2) but their next 5 aren't straightforward. I've been really underwhelmed watching them this season but they really have that knack of sneaking a goal when they haven't played well (which is our undoing). Until is mathematically impossible I'll cling on to that hope. Having said that this will probably feel completely different again if they pick up a win on Saturday.
  8. Ipswich in it, European trophy winners under Bobby Robson too.
  9. This. Burton A, Reading A, Carlisle H, Bristol Rovers H, Northampton A, Exeter A. 15 points dropped there alone. Pompey and Derby both seem to have that knack of grinding out results even if they aren't playing well (Derby epitomised this at weekend).
  10. Bang on the money. We've scored more than any other side in the opening 15 minutes this season.
  11. Wins for us and Peterborough would blow it right open. Barnsley also have a very winnable game too.
  12. Very Northern prices🤣
  13. Altetico is streets ahead of any other game for me, but the FA Cup replay against Arsenal (2007?) where Meite equalised in the last minute to force extra time was mega. Non-stop 2nd half and then all the way through extra time.
  14. My last visit was the 1-1 in the Prem, Anelka for us. Have we lost every game there since?* *We've drawn 2 then lost the rest since.
  15. The pace of the passing, plus the option of switching play quicker or going longer from Coleman was spot on last night, Oxford ended up not sure whether to press high, or drop off to reduce space in the middle. Worked a treat.
  16. Looking at the opinions of Derby fans they were very lucky to win last night and think they need to be levels above to get a win on Saturday. Tend to be far more pragmatic and play on the counter attack so think we may have our fair share of possession, if we use the ball like last night they'll be opportunities for us. Also think the back 5 and Coleman will have far more to do at weekend, especially if they try to catch us on the break. This is a massive game, Derby play international weekend away at Northampton, so defeat on Saturday we could be 7 points behind them come the Stevenage game. Here's to putting an end to our shite run at Pride Park.
  17. It's a hill and he'll die on it.
  18. Hope we can put an end to this patchy form tonight - a tough one considering us being light up top.
  19. Full allocation of 1384 tickets received. On sale 10am tomorrow - 24 quid. Another mad scramble in the morning?
  20. Said this at weekend, I genuinely cannot remember the last time we conceded a goal and you could say it was a screamer or great football.
  21. And completely clueless the vast majority.
  22. More correcting TM to be fair as he was thinking of the game at Vale back in 22/23. If we get enough points to get over the the line I don't care what our record is against teams in the top 6. FWIW I think we'll pick up a couple of wins from Derby, Stevenage, Portsmouth & Peterborough.
  23. Port Vale were in the top 6 when we went this season and we won 1-0.
  24. You can also argue that last season our record against this season's top 6 was W5 D2 L3 Portsmouth H 3-0 A 0-1 Derby H 0-0 A 1-2 Barnsley H 0-0 A 3-0 Peterborough H 1-0 A 5-0 Stevenage (Accrington) H 0-1 A 3-2
