I hope yous all realise that we'll get absolutely NO recognition for finishing 3rd, last season it was all about Sheffield Wednesday, this & Sheffield Wednesday that, ,,,, well forget any of that it'll be us against the rest as normal.
Just watching QPR v Preston.
2 sides we should be finishing above next season, and looking at the quality on show i don't think we have owt to fear there like.
Noted that the walk out anthem was good though, London calling by the Clash. Nice touch.
Just get a bigger Alfa, if you're happy with them (a lot of people are) then nothing else comes close for looks or style.
And you would get a stunning Giulia for 20k
I still felt pretty good after last Saturday, we'd played well and given the league champs a great game, but today feels a bit like after the Barnsley at home play off game, you just knew, knew how it was all a bit too much to ask.
Never mind the next 2 league games, they are irrelevant, ok (win at home lose at posh) but the play offs, where are the goals gonna come from?
Collins? Hopefully.
Dion Charles? Doubt it.
Jarome? Leave it out.
So its up to the rest then, will a hero emerge???
Son in law said last night, do you think they will sack him if they don't go up?
My answer was , well not Sack sack, but he will be encouraged to maybe move on.
He's probably just realised that he's on a hiding to nothing, fail to go up and I'm afraid his days are numbered-, manage to somehow win the play offs and i think he's realised he would be back to square 1, where he looked way out of his depth and he's maybe not up for the pressure again.
Its all irrelevant anyway due to our crap PA system.
First time i ever went to old Trafford well over 40 years ago , the first thing that struck me was how good their sound system was, maybe coz ours was what they were throwing out at the Bolton Palais in 1949.
Needs to be a unique and tongue in cheek chant that will catch on with all sides of the arena.
Back in the 70s (hear me out) the Swan cellar had a niche clientele and they would always play "Back in the night" by Dr Feelgood, now they had no Bolton connection but its a great bouncy song and the whole of the Swan used to chant "I'm a sausage roll, I'm a sausage roll" during the chorus. Trust me it was infectious and would deffo be a unique cult thing at BWFC.
