I was in town, just had an hour watching the blaze from Nelson Square.I could only see a section of the building, the section at the right of the photo Spider posted.The cladding below the beams on that photo didn't burn. other than a very small section.Those beams are at the front of the building on Bradshawgate, the blaze to the left of the crane must be at the back of the building. The blaze was mostly put out by 11.30pm, although im sure the emergency services will be there a few more hours.There were tens of kids from the building outside the bus station some in their pyjamas and dressing gowns, some with no shoes and socks on.It must have been a race to get out of the building.The police were saying as far as they were aware everybody had got out of the building.Really hope they are correct

I think the visit of Bolton Wanderers will attract more fans to Accrington's ground than Sunderland did too.Although Sunderland are far better supported than Bolton they generally take smaller away followings to North West grounds
