Sounds like a deluded QPR fan to me. Don’t think QPR ever brought more than 500 to Burnden, Chelsea another story.
He supports Man City.

My mate grew up in West London in 70s 80s. QPR were the big team, no-one supported Chelsea.

thing is, for me, when pondering all this, i really struggle with what a team, any team, did 100+ years ago

i don't give a fuck really
preston were huge in the 1800s
the 1800s
so what
Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but have only really been on that trajectory since the 1960s
prior to that they had won 5 titles on a par with Sheff Weds and Sunderland
Think Chelsea had only won one title pre Abramovich.

7 wins puts on 95pts. Surely enough to go up, apart from last season granted. Can't see it happening mind.

I suspect they’re confusing longest surviving - Frank Blunstone first appeared for England in 1954, but is only 89 - with oldest surviving - Tommy didn’t make his England debut until 1958, but is 94.
if you receive a response from them, it might be worth pointing out the difference.
They never replied but they've clarified and corrected their Web page now

I've emailed them asking to check. They reckon it's Frank Blunstone

Sad news but, if I'm not mistaken, Tommy is now the oldest living England footballer. Congratulations.
Well done Tommy.

Some journalist on a podcast I listen to saying Liverpool looked knackered against Utd, as its their 18th game of the year already.
Think I counted 20 for Bolton. Plus the 2 abandoned games we'll have done all the prep for.
Hopefully the break will do us good.

You could run the country on a quarter of the MPs we have.
Pay them double what they get now to try and attract 'better' candidates and we're better off.Ban personal donations to MPs and we're even better off.
In fact ban any political donations personal, party etc. It breeds corruption. The South Australian Premier is looking to implement.

A post about a royal photo having been doctored appears on a thread not about royals, when there is one.
Funny that.
Turns out that sadly, these photos sometimes are "enhanced". Bit like with a lot of celebs.
Sad world.
You were all in bed, so I just thought I'd run amok. Forum's gone to the dogs when you're not looking, clearly.
The whole previous page on this thread is royal family chat.

All seems a bit strange this abdominal surgery thing.
Anyone got any juicy conspiracy theories.
I'll start with he's knocked her about👍
To quell the online speculation, Buckingham Palace release a Mother's Day photo of Kate and the kids, taken by William apparently.
So authentic that four news agencies have retracted it due to digital manipulation.
I'll add that minor Royal didn't shoot himself did he....

Explain.
Can only assume shortest route to Oz (antipodal point near enough) must be via North Pole?
