The lass at start is the is the best š āweāre a coffee nation not a tea nation anymoreā Bring back tea - English Breakfast Defence League Majority seem to say theyāre there for political motivations. Nothing wrong with that, but according to some it was just a St. George celebration.
-
Aye. So true. Like the report that came out recently. Whilst toxic debate by both sides dominate, the people who need genuine support miss out.
-
ah okay did they say it was a nice st. George celebration with no politics involved?
-
Because one of the organisers made a 5 minute video before, saying that we are gathering for our country, to stand against the indoctrination of our youth by the woke agenda. There were also a load of speakers there saying similar things throughout. I posted it a while ago. But donāt worry, I wonāt call you a āspazā if youāve not read every page on every thread š

Take notes on a footy forum š you been on the golden ale today? Similar number of arrests at the last Pro Palestine demo as there was at the St George one today. Shows pretty balanced policing to be fair. Iām sure that the majority on both were there peacefully š
-
Feel pretty much the same way. Nothing against people feeling proud & wanting to celebrate etc. I think we see it in a a more positive manner at events like the coronation etc. Events like this in London just put folk off, as does some of the historic behaviour of England fans at major tournaments. Tartan army & Irish fans have always had a better reputation abroad. Hopefully it will be decent at the Euros this year.

People on a pro Palestine demo = āpathetic pieces of shit wasting police timeā People on a St. Georgeās day demo fighting with the police = āpoor victims of two tier policingā RWs two tier guide to protesting in London 2024.

Whoās telling you what to believe & how to be anti English? Might need a bit more detail with claims like that.

Patriots have had a lovely day in London. https://news.sky.com/story/amp/violence-breaks-out-at-st-georges-day-event-in-central-london-13121301

So good š
-
Nope If a copper tried to prevent a group of muslim lads antagonise a pro Israel demo, weād be saying exactly the same.
-
See Bologna beat Roma away as well. Massive win & what an unbelievable season for them if they get 4th. Captain Lewis Ferguson out injured for the rest of the season as well & theyāre still fine. Great city & fans

Aye Just get the latest bwfc kit each year & stick your surname on the back.

I know I know š¬ It was meant affectionately.

Surely youāre not saying you canāt see the difference between not going out the front door & not going near a protest? Itās a big place that there London. Especially in 2024. Haha. Iāve heard the stereotype a lot to be fair. And honestly I find most teachers to be the complete opposite & pretty down to earth. Fair doās if your experience is different. Not denying I might come across that way at times though. Just the way I talk on here. Quite different and a bit quieter in the real world. Iām also aware that my views are opinions. Often based on what better informed people have written. And Iām happy to have my mind changed, which I have on here before. Certainly not deluded enough to think I know for a fact that every single person on a demonstration of 1000s is a āpathetic piece of shitā and I know that because Iāve observed it many timesā¦
-
Why do you love posting my job all the time? Its a bit gay mate I think the idea is that many are afraid to go where the protests are happening. Not that they wonāt leave their homes. Where did you get the info they were all hiding inside every Saturday? Or was that another of your āobservationsā ? Iād maybe suggest you take a walk around Stamford Hill the next time a demos on and see what you observe then. But yes Iām just a teacher on a footy forum. You are also on a footy forum. Iām not delusional enough to think Iām expressing anything other than an opinion
-
Haha A Rabbi outside their home on a Saturday š± Thought it wasnāt safe? Heās very riled up by them. Now heās convinced himself heās an expert on a city he doesnāt live in & seems to have forgot the basic difference between facts & opinions. Look at this lot out at the weekend. āPathetic pieces of shitā š¬
-
Aw come on, letās leave Kent out of our pathetic little games. Heās only asking a genuine question. Some protesters cause trouble - not everyone on a protest is a cunt though. Some football fans cause trouble - not everyone at a footy game is a cunt though. Excuse the Whataboutery, but I think it gets my point across quite nicely.
-
Hate to burst your bubble here mateā¦. but believing that every person on a pro Palestine demo is a cunt & a pathetic piece of shit is an opinion (not an accurate description). Even I wouldnāt claim to be that much an expert š You do impress yourself eh.
-
You sure youāre not upset petal?
-
Not much recently- again, Jews have been at these demos too. There has been some & there was certainly more antisemitism when they were bigger initially. Youāll find plenty examples online. But itās a minority. The vast majority, as triggering as they might be for some, are peaceful and not intimidating anyone. The idea that the Jewish population of London are quivering in their homes every Saturday afraid to go out is nonsense.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/palestine-march-antisemitism-london-gideon-falter-b2532585.html Four people related to Holocaust survivors & one survivor were at the protest at the weekend. Just behind where the altercation was taking place with the copper.
-
Nobody is disputing that these protests have been tough for Jewish people & that they donāt feel safe going into town when theyāre on. Iām talking specifically about your video with Gideon Falter & the copper. Which is awful evidence for the above point because he himself is looking to cause trouble & is connected to extremists š Hopefully youāve grasped that. Jewish people feeling afraid isnāt enough reason to restrict the protests though imo. Which is what the guy in the article suggests. Especially if there isnāt widespread evidence of Jews being regularly attacked during the demos. The protesters ( as annoying as they may be ) want to protest about the Israeli governments response in Gaza. You canāt really stop them making that point, just like you couldnāt if people were to protest against Hamas. Obviously anyone intimidating Jews or Muslims need to be dealt with accordingly.

Mate - you really need to look at the longer transcript that came out today. Sky news released it earlier. Because you're still basing your argument on this one 15 second clip and it's making you sound a bit daft. And despite us both taking the piss out each other, I really don't have you down as this daft. He said it to him because he was trying to cross the demonstration to antagonise. He was with a group of people and a camera man. The policeman states that he had observed him acting suspiciously earlier. He then told the copper "I will go where ever the hell I want". At which point the copper used a poor choice of words but (as people have been saying on here all day) there is a lot more to it than the phrase he used. He had a clear motive here and it wasn't just to cross the street. On your other point - nope not according to me. According to a survey of British Jews. https://eurojewcong.org/news/communities-news/united-kingdom/three-quarters-of-uk-jews-more-fearful-for-their-safety-since-7-10/ "The growing insecurity of the community in the UK is shown to have been compounded by a growing distrust of institutions such as the BBC, the UK university authorities and with the police". It's a variety of reasons (including the protests) why they don't feel safe š Proven by the fact not every report of antisemitism occurs on a protest.

So with all the information you've now heard about Gideon Falter. Plus the 15 minute conversation between the copper and the Jewish group coming out today about why he stopped him crossing. And you're still arguing that black is white (quite a recurring theme with you). I do have the upmost admiration for your stubbornness though ā¤ļø it's impressive. That video doesn't prove your point in the slightest.
