Keeper flying out of the box could be deemed as 'careless'? -

Thought it was strange to not show it again from the main camera angle at least. As you say, allowing fans to get a better informed opinion in real time. I get it that you might not want to see the Accrington lad's eyes 360 in his skull in an HD zoomed-in replay, but there's nothing gory about that main angle. 50/50 anyway, no arm from Trafford, free kick at most.* *Alright, on reflection, maybe it was a yellow. Not bothered 🙃 -
No analysis, no criticism, no assessment from me. No point. Nights like this... this is why we love this club. I only wish I could have been part of the limbs in that terrace after Kachunga's goal. See you all at Wembley.

I'll be behind the bar for the match. Can't exactly promise excellent service while the Wanderers are on tv, but come and say hello if you're in.
-
If you're one of the unlucky ones in the Accrington ticket jamboree, and you come in tomorrow, I'll buy you a pint.
-
Hope you're right. Even though Cheltenham would be easier on the pitch (assuming tomorrow goes as planned!), there's something about a near full Wembley that just sounds magnificent.

Totally get some of the povs on some people not being too arsed by this, but I'm of an age where I've never seen this club "win" anything. I wasn't born in 1989, I was more into toy cars and Playdays in 1997, and 2001, while obviously fundamentally great for the club and fans of my generation, isn't really the kind of outright "win" I'm getting at. Maybe controversially, I'd almost (almost) sooner see us win this than finish in the top 6. I'm actually quite excited for Wednesday.
-
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Sure, there was initial surprise, and perhaps a fleeting thought that this was embarrassing, or detrimental to the club in some way. Then I remembered I'm not a 12 year old kid hung up on silly names. I think it's a quite endearing choice to be honest. A bit daft, but full of character, anything but dull, and with its heart and morals in the right place. I think it's about the most BWFC sponsorship we could have bagged.

We really do have some strange 'fans' following us. Just seems they're the most vocal on social media.

We conceded one goal away from home, which is pretty par for the course. The back line wasn't the issue today - our attackers simply couldn't live with their defence. As for suggesting Leather Shitflickers over Evatt... that barely deserves a response.
-
Evatt made one change from the starting line up against MK. Your suggestion to bring in Lee would also be one change. What am I missing?
-
Blatant pen. Not looking like our day...
-
Evatt has more than enough credit in the bank to tinker however he sees fit, especially away from home against a side, on a good run of form, who are well versed in the dark arts. I'm going for a 2-1 win, from behind. Victor with a brace.
-
What factors enabled our current run of form?

Dempsey, Morley and Lee have been excellent. Some proper bite and intensity in that midfield now, where it was a bit pedestrian earlier in the season. And Eoin Toal has been a revelation. What a find; his presence has also upped the game of Johnston, Santos and Jones, for me. -
Crikey. 2.5 seasons of Evattball and we've got a WW thread that looks like the screen of a hedge fund manager's laptop! Whatever happened to screams of GERRI'IN'T'BOX!?
-
Magic, this. Love it. Evatt out

A week in Skegness for the lads then, on our budget.

Interesting to see a Franchise Fan use the word "historically". 1-1 as they scrap a set piece goal, 11 sit behind the ball and we come back down to earth with a bump, even while celebrating an 88th minute equaliser from Bradley (edit: is he still suspended?). Hope I'm desperately wrong.

I did a very quick dart to the station at the final whistle as I was getting a train on to London, and plod was marshalling about 10-15 lads away from the ground. Think one got nicked maybe, I wasn't hanging about though. Didn't notice much else before or after though. A few I spoke to on the platform seemed a bit shell-shocked by the scoreline, as was I. Tried my best to not be too giddy but days like that don't come around too often...!
-
Fantastic all round. Take a bow lads, that was awesome. Superb atmosphere as well, a privilege to be part of it today 👏 Jonson Clarke-who? Has Rico let him out of his pocket yet?
-
Hadnt noticed that one, ouch. Wonder what your employer would think if your plans lost a UNESCO listing too...?
-
Well up for this. 2-0, Charles and Dempsey.

Yet another poxy outfit rocking up here and shithousing from minute 1, with 11 behind the ball. Justice that they got nothing; they were among the worst I've seen this season. Ref at least did cotton on to it after a while, but Bradley's first offence booking was farcical after Cheltenham's behaviour. Chuffed we managed to get the win though, you can tell this side is getting much better at scrapping, while still sticking to Evatt's possession based philosophy. Only criticism I have: No matter what the BN comments section has been yelling for the past couple of months, today proved that Declan John really isn't the answer. Defensive positioning non existent, and Jones left to do the work of two men, multiple times. A side like Wednesday would tear us apart on our left with him in the side.
