Too, FFS, too.
I've bitten my tongue for years ... but it's fucking too.
What's a "leaving too"?

Commentators need to be advertising our part in Bradley's development a little more ahead of the loan window shutting tomorrow!
Can't help but feel tonnes of pride, even if he's playing for these bastards.

Ha. Having seen the throw in and offside decisions again, I retract saying 4-1 flattered us!
Abysmal. Please get out of this league, whites.

I didn't think it did, we were 3 goals better than them all day long. Baxter made 1 good save, they had a good header just wide 1st half, and scored a good goal. We had loads of near misses and in terms of possession were streets ahead, they were well beaten and 2-1 or 3-1 wouldn't have reflected our superiority.
Fair comment I suppose. Felt a bit like we were taking the piss when the 4th went in so late, but, I suppose that's the reward we can get when we've invited a press and the opponent is knackered.
Not splitting hairs
cracking result, all that matters!

Cracking day out, that. Great performance from all, including the subs (as someone said above, it's a 16 man game now, and all played their part). With players starting to come back/through the door, and maybe others perhaps still to be signed, we're looking in a great position for the rest of the season.
4-1 perhaps flattered us but we dominated pretty much all of the game, and importantly, heads stayed calm after conceding. More performances like that, please.
Properly chuffed, especially as it's rare I get onto an open terrace and the weather actually behaves! COYW

Horrible game, great result. That could prove vital at the end of the season.
Reinforcements definitely needed though.

Odious little man, is Wellens.
To be fair, he's got his side to do a job on us today, they've looked decent while we've been poor.

Haven't been this excited for a cup fixture in a long time - looking forward to see how this side stacks go aagainsta (first XI) Premier League opposition... I'm far from expecting a win, but a good battling account of ourselves would be lovely.
And while I know we probably don't need the extra fixtures, I'd love us to still be in the hat for the 4th round, and get a cracking "big club" away draw where we can bow out gracefully and make a few quid.

Great result, but i's games like this, at home against a team set up for a nil-nil, I just wish we would be slightly more flexible and have a plan B of going to a 4 at the back to get an additional, more skillful player up the pitch to help get the breakthrough. Minor quibble though while we're winning!
See, I don't think a "4 at the back" against a shithouse side coming for 0-0 would allow us the tactical flexibility we currently have. When you've got centre backs overlapping the already high full backs, we're essentially attacking with 9 players, stretching their defence out of shape.
When doing this, you can see why we're waiting for the "perfect" opportunity to shoot, as a speculative 30-yarder that lands in the keeper's gloves would then leave us vulnerable to a quick counter.
Granted its frustrating for the fans at times, but there's clearly a system that the players buy in to - and the successful progression of the club in the past few years speaks for itself.
(This isn't me having a go at you btw, just thought your post was a valid opportunity to raise a chat I was having with my mate at HT today).

Thomason is just immense. That £1m offer looks more and more derisory every game he plays!
Another 3 points, totally in control, and there's still little pockets of negativity on here. Staggering.
Fwiw, I thought Vic played well, and did everything Evatt will have asked of him. Happy Monday, gents.

That was a mega away day
I remember going apeshit for the winner! Must have worked, I'm still here 😀

Couldn't ask for much more. Fairly comfortable, winning end to a superb year; really well played lads.

Somewhere in between (most of) you and your kids.
Middlesbrough 2008 - dour 1-0, Gavin McCann winner. Went on K&F. Don't remember much else; the Riverside is hardly the most inspiring away day at the best of times!

Aye, may as well just sit back, relax & enjoy the rest of the season - in Evatt we trust an’ all that.
Why not?
I'm loving this season, arent you? 🙂
Nout like last minute limbs!!

I'm discounting Bristol Rovers, as we had a man sent off.
We also beat Stevenage 3-2.
Of course if you concede, then the win is harder.
However, I reckon today was a touch of complacency creeping in after the start- and as I said before, and Evatt has now stated, we didn't react well enough to their changes.
For that, I still feel he has to look at his own methods as well as that of the players.
Perhaps an example of where an experienced on head, off the bench, could be useful. As they saw with Pratley.
Absolutely. Although in the same vein, I thought our oldest and most experienced head did a cracking job leading the line when he came on with 10/15 left!
Big 3 points in the circumstances. We'll be reyt.

Meltdowns all over the shop, Christ.
Portsmouth were brilliant after Dion's sitter. Sloppy first goal to concede, and Yengi was excellent. Haven't seen Santos struggle like that for a long time.
Still in the automatics, still plenty of games to play. It's far from over, fucking hell.

Wasn't expecting to hear from him from Santos's pocket 😉

Big point, especially given their chances at 30-45 minutes. Baxter stood up well.
Impressed with Oxford; I must admit I thought their position belied their actual quality, but they were a very good side. Definitely a threat til May.

That were a bit good, that.

Just been looking at some old cars on YouTube and it got me thinking that when i was a young lad i was car mad and loved and hated certain models just by the look of them, I'd obviously never driven them or read reviews on them as you would today.
As i got old enough to drive and even afford to probably buy the types of cars I'd always liked it never happened, and these were realistic purchases not super cars, so thought I'd mention a few i thought were stunning in the 70s.
Datsun 240/260z
Triumph Stag
Ford Corsair 2000E
Fiat supamirafiuri TC
Capri JPS edition
Alfa GTV6
Opal manta gte, anyone actually had one of these beauties? As by 82 they would all have been very affordable if not old bangers?.
I had the newer version of the Alfa GT a few years back.
When it wasn't pissing oil, having electrical faults, cutting out the power steering, crumpling its rear wishbones over a pothole... for those 2 days a year, it was a lovely drive.
I still lust after a mid 90s Alfa Spider. I just know how completely detrimental that decision would be to my bank account!!

Let’s flip it. 1400 in one day by terrorists with no strategic outcome.
How many more if Israel didn’t respond? You can ignore the rest of this post and just answer that.
11,000( disputed) in 38 days by a country defending itself from the same terrorists.
Every one of those lives matter. Unless some of those 11,000 are Hamas of course and they deserve everything they got.Israel had to respond. Of course they did! But where's the line - where do these horrors stop? Is 8 dead Palestinians for every dead Israeli enough of a trade for Netanyahu?
If it *isn't* enough, then boy oh boy, he is hurtling towards a genocide.

It is a shame, it’s also a shame 1400 innocent Jews were murdered by Hamas which triggered this latest round of deaths. If that hadn’t happened none of the Gaza deaths happen.
Interesting split between the words you've chosen. The "deaths" in Gaza, almost as natural, acceptable and normalised as the passing of your nan. Not "murders", oh no.
Current estimates are at around 11,000 Palestinian deaths in retaliation for 1,400 Israelis.
Let's flip it.
How many murdered Palestinians equate to one Israeli death? Is 8 a fair number?
Transfer Gossip

Why not? Two fairly young players doing well in L1, maybe not ready for the championship but with lots of potential and (or!) a good chance of a sell on fee. And opportunity to develop in L1 further.
We saw Bristol try it with GT in the summer (granted with no loan clause) -makes sense in Jan that championship clubs would do similarly.
*BTW this transfer window has been ace. Until Collins misses a sitter or the West Brom lad gets megged on his 18 yard box, then they can become Jardel and Cid respectively...
Well excited, not gonna lie.
