Some on Twitter saying trophies are forever, records are temporary/can be broken. still think getting 300 PL goals is very attainable at Spurs or another PL club next summer and would be extremely hard to beat. Haaland likely only challenger but I imagine he will go Madrid at some point

very good deal for spurs, losing a 30 year old with one year left for £86m obviously not good in the short term, and Kane could still reject Bayern in favour of having more options when his contract expires. Clearly desperate to add some silverware to his cabinet before he gets too old, but if I were him, I’d stay one more season at spurs then see who takers are next summer. Madrid could get Mbappe and Kane on free contracts

Manager saying they struggled vs Wrexham because they had to have a lot of the ball and Wrexham just sat off them. Apparently Wigan aren’t used to that. And also they lacked aggression (which was a feature of their tactics in their last league one stint) Sound like Maloney has geared them up to be a counter attacking team this season. Unfortunately that favours them when we play them but we should have more than enough quality to win.

hope we get some payback for the last times we played them. 1-1 away at theirs wasn't the revenge I wanted. Prior to that, Delfouneso blazing one over the bar in the cup and losing 4-0 at home to them, we owe them big time.

Yeah was a tough question to deal with, surprised they asked it. Clearly Evatt doesn’t think DJ is good enough but for media he has to come out with a positive spin “there’s always a way back into the team” etc To be fair DJ was frozen out once and came back in ( didn’t really do much) but I’d be surprised if he played again after being frozen out twice… Doubt any other clubs will offer him a similar wage so he probably is just sitting on his contract until he is a free agent
