Long way to go yet, as last season proved. I'll wait until then to make my mind up about the situation. I also think he is wrong about never being able to change folk's opinion about him, sadly he doesn't seem to believe that himself and that will be his undoing. Lisbon doesn't even need bringing up as that was not his sole decision. Apparently that is because of the 'situation' and 'context' in which the statements are made. Its a comedy show that's been on the telly for twenty years and so the viewer is aware in advance that the material broadcast is supposedly lighthearted. 'Using "allegedly" is actually more likely to see you in court - as it is perceived as admittance that you're not sure whether what you are saying is true.' This is just what I've read like. I've no idea on how this can be interpreted on a football forum?

I'm sure I've read somewhere, sticking allegedly in front of a potentially libellous statement has zero effect?
