Not as pissed as I expected to be. Fucking great win and lots of bolton fans in the north stand for the first time loved it. Friday night rugby is working and plenty of fans making a night out of it. When micky higham went over there must have been a grands worth of ale hit the roof. Cas...the pace and intensity of that game today was 200% greater than any of the fat lads could manage. Straight up and down doesn't happen. Bottom 4 play top 4 in a mini league, top 3 go into super league and 4th plays the 5th on a one off play off. To finish lower than the highest championship club who have a wage bill half that of a super league club, you need to be a bit shit. Realistically we want to be stay in the league and continue the growth. 3 years ago we were a part time team full of roofers and plumbers so to get a full time 30 man squad in SL is a huge change. It's like athy colls going into the football league in 3 years. Personally I reckon there are 7 or 8 teams stronger than us on paper so injuries, rub of the green, confidence etc means we could finish anywhere between 6th and 12th.

I did actually enjoy a few moments of it. It's clear the bits people's wanked each other off about was when they threw the ball about instead of hoooooooofing it into the sky whilst the fat lads rolled around on top of each other. There is still a river of jizz flowing through Cardiff resulting from their try which came from a basic league move we teach our 7 year olds. If only they took it a next step and removed 4 fat lads offs the pitch..they could see stuff like that every week. The talent is there that's for sure.

If you had any idea about rugby you'd realise the Wales try came from a league move that's been around since that shite was still amature, England first try came from some fat bloke falling over another fat blokes yet the winner came from throwing the ball around looking for gaps on the pitch which oddly happens very often in the last few minutes of tight union games. Actually quite entertaining too, when they do it.

Pace of the game I think and we've only had 2 warm up games. Overall fitness levels are high against SL benchmark but game time is sommat else. The intensity is twice that of the championship so there will be a learning curve. We were blowing in the first half due to a few dumb sets leaving us to defend in our own half for seemed like 25 mins. Not worried to be honest. Plenty of positives. It's like a newly prompted club going to arsenal away first game. Be reet. Cas will make many teams look bad this year.

Big lesson tonight. But fuck cas are good. Best team in Yorkshire by a mile. Piss easy run now, Leeds saints wigan huddersfield warrington ????????
