  1. Should be a short service I think https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13318841/Warwick-Davis-wife-Samantha-tragically-dies-aged-53.html?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0Tvjc_7F7hW9BWJX_dOvVLu4Oi6ZHX-CdTXadIIFfEVK7SaBpO6ZR5oMw_aem_AdWv9CFc5hFhA5ATzCkhFjmpqVMBFV-BA6dnCnDUVi-akuvOmeItjUfE2h-yavMseBlJnELt0W--H6-a9NoRpjKz
  2. Saw a pair of Haciendas go on the offers page on FB for £1,400. I paid a bit more than that for mine, like you say its a waiting game now, away they go....
  3. Phoned the club yesterday and they sent me a email with them, I must of deleted with the other rubbish I get in my spam? The ticket office were great, no messing about, fair play.
  4. Can't find mine anywhere?
  5. Just booked my flights for the three group games in June. Flying in then out early the next morning like I did 2006 Germany. Taking into consideration the inflated accommodation prices I think I'm doing it right, it's cost me under £1,200 doing it this way and I fly into the places where we're playing. I was looking looking at Brussels, Eindhoven and Charleroi as options but 4-5hrs travelling by train put me off.
  6. I'm sitting out this one, shit fan, will probably start work on the patio as I'm at that time of season where I find watching our games unbearable, a big coward I know. Health wise mid-table football supporters must be the healthiest, my Alan Wicker will be pumping like mad, one cig after the other, not a nail left on the bell ringers. Enjoy your day out tomorrow lads, loud and proud 👏
  7. Ive just watched The World At War on Yesterday channel. The Allied Forces crossed the Rhine and bombarded Berlin, Hitler was hiding in his bunker and German soldiers were running for their lives, hands in the air, getting kicked up their backsides and rocks thrown at them as they did. He shot himself through the temple and his missus, Eva Braun, took cyanide.
  8. Probably still in the warehouse, they'll leaf it till last
  9. I've just bought a DriBuddi, not used it yet though. Live in a 2 bed bungalow so no room for a dryer in the kitchen anyhow. Rave reviews on Argos, £50 it's worth a bat, it heats the room up whilst drying at a fraction of the cost of a dryer.
  10. Still are in my house, love the things.
  11. He was sat the next row up from me in Japan 2002, Eng v Argentina game. Genuinely nice bloke.
  12. Sergeant Pepper taught his band to play....
  13. I've just sent 2 tickets down to Bath, couple of our lads go to all the games down them parts. Went last season and got stuck on the motorway for 2hrs 30 miles outside.
  14. Me n Missus Breightmet are going in March, looking forward to it, first time for me.
  15. Our tram back to central Athens got bricked. I wondered what the old bill was doing with riot shields on it, the doors open and it was a hailstorm of bricks 😂
  16. Sheehan and Dempsey absolutely ran them ragged, Sheehans twisting and turning had them all over the shop. Defensively we distributed nice too, it helps when Baxter organises them perfectly, which he's good at.
  17. Just been speaking to the celebrant that did his funeral,
  18. I lot of hard work gone into that I can imagine 😉 Both my parents were cremated at Overdale.
  19. I learned this week that Vimto was originally called Vim Tonic by its founder from Blackburn, not Manchester as first thought.
  20. I've got the receipts of quite a few trainers, but not the lot Most of my trainers are still tagged I suppose, so they're still new, but I have paid tax on them. Mind you, second hand car salesmen will have to pay tax. Its a bit of a minefield, gonna have to get myself a printer and audit my outgoings etc.
  21. Are you all aware of this? Basically you'll have to account for everything bought and re-sold on selling sites. I with I'd never bought so many trainers now 😆 How much tax will I owe? The tax that you owe on eBay profits depends on how much profit you make. If you make up to £1,000 a year from your eBay sales – assuming that they don’t account for your full-time income – this is completely tax-free with the Trading Allowance. The Trading Allowance enables you to earn self-employment profits tax-free, not to be confused with the Personal Allowance which is the tax-free portion of your full-time earnings. The Personal Allowance currently sits at £12,570 for the 2023/24 tax year.
