You paid over £1400 for a pair of trainers?
Yes, as a investment

Sounds like a lot of people going that way, re-sale market has absolutely bombed.
Got a shed load to sell on, going to lock them away for another few years until it all comes back round again.
Saw a pair of Haciendas go on the offers page on FB for £1,400. I paid a bit more than that for mine, like you say its a waiting game now, away they go....

No tickets it’s all electronic
Phoned the club yesterday and they sent me a email with them, I must of deleted with the other rubbish I get in my spam? The ticket office were great, no messing about, fair play.

Just booked my flights for the three group games in June. Flying in then out early the next morning like I did 2006 Germany. Taking into consideration the inflated accommodation prices I think I'm doing it right, it's cost me under £1,200 doing it this way and I fly into the places where we're playing. I was looking looking at Brussels, Eindhoven and Charleroi as options but 4-5hrs travelling by train put me off.

I'm sitting out this one, shit fan, will probably start work on the patio as I'm at that time of season where I find watching our games unbearable, a big coward I know. Health wise mid-table football supporters must be the healthiest, my Alan Wicker will be pumping like mad, one cig after the other, not a nail left on the bell ringers. Enjoy your day out tomorrow lads, loud and proud 👏

Ive just watched The World At War on Yesterday channel. The Allied Forces crossed the Rhine and bombarded Berlin, Hitler was hiding in his bunker and German soldiers were running for their lives, hands in the air, getting kicked up their backsides and rocks thrown at them as they did. He shot himself through the temple and his missus, Eva Braun, took cyanide.

Probably still in the warehouse, they'll leaf it till last

I've just bought a DriBuddi, not used it yet though. Live in a 2 bed bungalow so no room for a dryer in the kitchen anyhow. Rave reviews on Argos, £50 it's worth a bat, it heats the room up whilst drying at a fraction of the cost of a dryer.

Aye, and in the 80s, society still thought that people couldn't love who they wanted and that Golliwogs were OK.
It's 2024. Move on.
Still are in my house, love the things.

Not a bad city Helsinki - went with @captainmed in the 90s, Howard Wilkinsons game.
Went to Athens early 2000 but that's a bit of a dump and rough.
Our tram back to central Athens got bricked. I wondered what the old bill was doing with riot shields on it, the doors open and it was a hailstorm of bricks 😂

Sheehan and Dempsey absolutely ran them ragged, Sheehans twisting and turning had them all over the shop. Defensively we distributed nice too, it helps when Baxter organises them perfectly, which he's good at.

Overdale has improved massively over the last 12 months or so. The jungle of rhododendron bushes have been chopped back and it looks 100% better. I didn’t even know there was a lake with fountain in the grounds.
I lot of hard work gone into that I can imagine 😉 Both my parents were cremated at Overdale.

I learned this week that Vimto was originally called Vim Tonic by its founder from Blackburn, not Manchester as first thought.

I've got the receipts of quite a few trainers, but not the lot
20 minutes ago, Spider said:Is this not just for folk selling new gear?
You can sell anything you like if you’ve already paid the tax when you originally bought it.
Some lad selling a few pairs of trainers isn’t what they’re after, it’s the wholesalers I think?
Most of my trainers are still tagged I suppose, so they're still new, but I have paid tax on them. Mind you, second hand car salesmen will have to pay tax. Its a bit of a minefield, gonna have to get myself a printer and audit my outgoings etc.

I didn't do Auschwitz as the others had been. Did the salt mines, pretty boring all told, videoed the full tour to save anyone the bother of doing it, there's only one room worth seeing, the huge one with the chandeliers and statuets standing stately in the hall. I'd say all else there is to do is eat on the main square market, but take Rennies
