  7. big thank you to the good folk from the greyhound in westhoughton who raised £260 for mcmillan nurses on friday night.

  12. will be open tomorrow, beer between £4 and £5 cocktails start at £6+ wine starts £5 for a small glass food very dear, burgers start at £11 can't see many frequenting it on a match day.
  13. i found my dad's funeral quite uplifting. a church full of friends and family. anthill mob in full attendance my eldest son and myself helped to carry the coffin, one of his best friends gave a fantastic eulogy the weather was fantastic. in all we couldn't have given my dad a better send off.
  14. right, back on it after my dads funeral. not had a drink for over two weeks, although i enjoyed it, it's the first time i've had a hangover in years not sure it 's worth it. anyway if anyone else would like to sponsor me it is for a good cause..
  15. right, it's two weeks in. it has not been that difficult (can't believe i have said that). been drinking becks blue, and a sauvignon blanc flavoured grape drink (which has an anti social side affect). i have purchased a golden ticket for tomorrow . raise a glass to my wonderful dad. love you always...
