  1. The Battle of Turf Moor Oct 8th 1994 Nicky Spooner stretched off. SJM scoring after we didn't give the cunts the ball back from a throw in. Final score 2-2. Time does fly......
  2. Summer 20 years ago we were facing our 10th successive season in the bottom 2 divisions having finished 13th the season before with an average home crowd of 6,030 in an antiquated stadium. The last 20 years have been amazing. New stadium (OK, out of town). 13 seasons in the top flight, 4 top-8 finishes (first time for over 40 years), 2 European campaigns (first time in Europe, excluding the Anglo-Italian). 2 League Cup finals (first time ever), 2 FA Cup semi-finals (first in 42 years), 2 play-off wins (first ever), 3 wins over ManYoo (first for over 20 years). Let's hope we're starting a repeat of that cycle and not of the previous one (1971 to 1993) - only 2 top-flight seasons and 12 in the bottom 2 divisions. Like they sang last Sunday, 'Always look on the bright side of life'.
