tomski Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Just had a look at the old school house in Harwood and for 2 bed apartments now starting £1200 including fees. Who in their right mind is paying that here. One of its features ‘close to Manchester’ amazing. Quote

Still, they may be able to fish the lodge from the apartment, so that's a positive! Quote

Traf Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 I bet Casino's house has doubled in value due to its proximity. Quote

Flats/apartments have gone crazy. Does anyone know if the posh flats off Manchester rd/Bradford street have been abandoned? No work done for some time! Quote

royal white Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 What happened to house prices and rents crashing because of BREXIT? Quote
Site Supporter Spider Posted January 3, 2023 Site Supporter Posted January 3, 2023 Been doing some work on a few of the skyscrapers in Manchester. Knife edge for some of the companies involved in them. A lot of what’s going on isn’t sustainable. Chinese money is starting to dry up and the UK money you could fit in a teacup. Could go either way. Did they? - I honestly don't know, and obviously neither do you, otherwise you wouldn't be asking the question I guess..... Even if they did, then they clearly got it wrong. There's a lot of it about, on both sides, with regards to Brexit. Quote
Site Supporter only1swanny Posted January 3, 2023 Site Supporter Posted January 3, 2023 Ours has gone up by at least 50% since we moved in. Seen a five bed in Little Lever on at half a million!! Said to Mrs Swanny we should sell up, buy cheaper and live mortgage free, she's not having it. Something about wanting something to leave to the kids. genuinely feel for young ones trying to get on the mortgage ladder atm, we were really lucky. Quote
