Thanks to @Big E and @radcliffe white we are looking forward to this now! Cheers again gents 👍👏.

Is it just the forward boys, Dan, Victor and Shoretire who are cup-tied for this?

I’m presuming Dempsey and Jones out for this.

Side could look something like this;

                        Trafford

             Toal.   Santos.   Mbete

Bradley.   Morley.  Sheehan.    John

                           Lee

               Charles.    Jerome

Close, but I think Thomason will play.

Totally get some of the povs on some people not being too arsed by this, but I'm of an age where I've never seen this club "win" anything. I wasn't born in 1989, I was more into toy cars and Playdays in 1997, and 2001, while obviously fundamentally great for the club and fans of my generation, isn't really the kind of outright "win" I'm getting at.

Maybe controversially, I'd almost (almost) sooner see us win this than finish in the top 6.

I'm actually quite excited for Wednesday.

Did think about this after seeing him on the bench for MKD, but he wasn’t on the bench Saturday. Has he played any B team football? I just didn’t know whether he was fully up to speed to start a game, especially for the hustle and bustle of a cup tie?

i think we would get a fair few. the main issue is travel.

34 seater coach was with tables is £2k return. i wanted to do the train but strikes ruining lives again.

booked a hotel for the saturday and sunday night, a few days after they announced no trains on the saturday, lets hope theres a resolution to the strikes

I certainly feel like Accrington team talk is virtually done for them already.

I'm not sure why our previous experiences away at their ground seem to make people feel like this will be some sort of walkover.

We can lose any game of football obviously - but we have a decent team and if they play well we have every chance of winning. Ultimately it's about how well we play and the rub of the green. We can do it so stay positive :)

Yeah, because we've done really well there in the cold, wet and windy conditions that are forecasted.

From a selfish point of view, I'd rather we didn't make the final of a competition i disagree with.

I've wanted us out since day 1 but may as well try and win it now, make the absolute shite I've had to go through to get to each of the games worth it!

I fully get that, mate and you deserve a winner's medal of your own for doing it, but I've not been to any and didn't try to get semi tickets. I even turned some down.

But, hypocrisy will kick in, if we win this week, as Jnr has never been to Wembley and there's no guarantees we get back there in May.

Ideal scenario would be to play ALL finals after the end of the season IMO.

Its giving the organisers of the competition any encouragement whatsoever that the way its set up is right that frustrates me the most really.

It deserves a Cheltenham v Accrington final (it deserves two U-21 teams playing eachother in the final actually, that would really show it up) but now we're here the thought of missing out on what could be a really great day out for everyone would be a shame. A mini reward for us losers who carried on going all over when the club was at its lowest.

Of course we can do it but only if we play to our strengths and not worry about theirs. They aren’t near the bottom for nothing and we’re not up the top for nothing so just on that we should win. I just hope we don’t try to counter their supposed rugged style like we did at Wycombe and instead take them apart with our better football. Let them worry about us and hope we get a strong referee. On Demps being absent, how about Kacha taking his place in midfield, he was ace on Saturday when he came on?
