Massive long shot

My lad wants a couple of tickets to go and watch this bunch of queers in Manchester this summer

Resale sites want £350 a ticket.

Fuck that. Fuck that so hard it prolapses.

Anyone know of anywhere they may be available at around half as much?

They were EIGHT pounds to watch when I saw them at the academy in manchester about 20 years ago.

Cunts.

Giving everyone colourful wristbands hasn’t improved them

Speaking of big ticket prices

Madonna at the O2 London on her greatest hits world tour

Only UK date

Out Friday

How much?

I'd have been tempted to try and get one if she'd done  Manchester

I was there that night. Sure Elbow were supporting?

I love Coldplay but they were bloody awful that night. Remember you could hear the crowd talking over them and the air was blue with skunk smoke.

First album had a whiff of decency. They chose to go the Simple Minds/U2 route.

it’s on them.

I know it's easy to knock them. The scientist is a good song, yellow was ok. They seem like nice lads,  recorded a video for their biggest song at our ground and they aren't the Red Hot Chilli Peppers so all things considered.

They are just a by-word for bland. Bit like The Stereophonics. Music for accountants in Hertfordshire.

My lad loves them. And for now that’s fine because he was heading down a route of listening to “modern R&B” which was just awful.

If Coldplay are his gateway to better things, I’m fine with it.

I took him to watch Pearl Jam last summer which I think helped him

That would have been a snip considering some of the prices I've seen for her!

Prices started at £47.

Love her or hate her, she's a true global superstar and from £47 for what will be her last UK gig isn't horrific.

Run of the mill bands who tour incessantly charge that nowadays.

Its the only way many bands can make money nowadays.

Having said that just booked two tickets for my new favourite band Thus Love at the Watermill in Brixton for £5.99 each!

That's actually a cracking price considering her status.

Still won't be mildly tempted though.
