Plus, their run of fixtures from 25 Feb to the end of March:

Derby (H)

Bristol (A)

Portsmouth (H)

Plymouth (H)

Wycombe (A)

Sheff W (H)

Ipswich (H)

Unpredictable team Barnsley - they're quite capable of raising their game against better teams like when they knocked us out of the FA Cup in Round 1 and beat Sheff Wed 2 nil at Hillsborough. Our subsequent win was one of our performances of the season - not what we produce most weeks - and need to reproduce regularly from here on in. But yes they have a tough run in however the pressure of the possibility of a playoff spot could well get them playing at their best. Let's hope not.

The risk with that is that it involves making two changes to the backline, one of them being a young loanee on his debut with a wing-back to his left who has a tendency to leave a lot of space behind

Hardly say it’s a risk. Jones moving to RWB would be like putting on an old pair of slippers for him and the way he was supporting and going beyond John particularly 2nd half on sat he’s not lost the nouse for the role even from LCB.

Left footed CB left side albeit new is the lesser of 2 evils v’s a right footer there along with an injury prone right winger turned wing back

I just meant a risk because I think it's generally better to make as few changes to the back line as possible, and we have no idea if Mbete is any good yet.

We'll need to be competitive in midfield as their best players (IMO) are there and they can battle and create - Fuchs and Jack Taylor in particular, but they can all play a bit and have an all round quality squad. That said, Darren Ferguson doesn't like "tough-tackling" Fuchs for some reason and he hasn't played in the last couple so may not start. They signed Tschimanga who was linked with us but given the strength of their forward line - including 15 goal Clarke-Harris - he'll probably start on the bench. They're a tough physical team who can play so we'll need to be on top form.

Pitch looked decent when they beat Portsmouth in their last home game..

Didn't realise they'd signed that lad from chesterfield

They seem to have a knack for signing decent strikers

would snap your hand off for a point, but its a 2-0 defeat unfortunatley

Not necessarily. Wycombe managed to beat them at their place on New Year's Day albeit with a few of slices of luck that gave them a flattering 0 - 3 scoreline, but it's do-able with a top performance and a fair wind. There's always the hope that kills you.

I’m feeling quite confident about this with our new strike force. We do seem to perform better against teams who try to play, like we did at Charlton and to be fair being 9 points behind already, they need to win this more than we do so they may leave gaps at the back. It’s a shame Bradley’s out but I think a draws the least we’ll get.

These were truly shocking when they came to us, almost similar to Cheltenham where we had to rely on a late goal as it just wasn't going in for us and there was antics from the start

But as we know, we struggle much more away from home, and Peterborough has been a miserable place for us in recent years

We have to put it right though, if we want to get promoted out of this league we have be getting positive results in these games and against Wycombe away in a few weeks.

They are our competition for the play offs so we need to ensure that they drop points when they play us

I doubt their home crowd would accept time-wasting shithousery. They’re at home, they should be bringing the game to us (whatever that phrase actually means) and thus leaving exploitable gaps at the back.
