Leythers and commies should probably not apply I worked with an Aussie girl in Newquay nearly 50 years ago and said she was so confused with the so many different UK accents and said everyone in Australia speaks the same. She's still got your wallet! Was that when, skint, you tried to hitch a lift home from the official coach carrying the Icelandic Women's volleyball team, they tossed you off near Tavistock and you woke up next morning on Dartmoor next to the Hound of the Baskervilles? Ha ha, no it was two years previous, you're thinking of the incident when I got bladdered in the Trossachs and waking up on a bed of Heather with her giving me a sherman to bring me round. I know one lad who is on a 5 days on, 9 days off swing!). It's all turned around here. the office wallahs and pen pushers might be sat in aircon but it is the qualified tradesmen knocking out the big money. As a massive supporter/appreciater/advocate of skilled tradesmen, I am very happy to see this.

His WA mines and ports are utilising hydrogen power wherever possible and the use of it is growing every day.

Not absolutely true matey. Queenslanders for example (and rural types) talk a LOT slower. Accent yes but they don't speak the same. Anyway, other than Boby Brno (who I just know will have picked it), I wonder how many had a scooby about the thinking behind thread title? Of course P.😊 Just watching this thread unfold as I have my own thoughts. Youngest is in Sydney and I’ve spent a lot of time with him and it’s the best thing he’s ever done. Had a chat with him the other night and thanked him for the experiences that we have enjoyed since he came here. We came out in Dec. and back home in March. In NZ at the moment for the cricket, something that we wouldn’t have done without him being down under. Anyway.

Sounds like you are having a ball mate! Continue to enjoy. I wish some of this lot realised the opportunity they are missing. Ah well, you can lead a horse to water and all that.
