Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 28 Site Supporter Share Posted February 28 Can't remember now, but a good while ago had one in Manchester and and it was good. To be honest, I'm not overly enamored with most take away pizzas. Nowt like a proper thin crust job, done for a matter of seconds in a hot pizza oven. DazBob
Went once. Was just like Domino's, both in taste and price.

globaldiver
There’s a 50% off deal for season ticket holders, so I thought I’d try one.

Went again when they were a bit older to one near Scarborough and we actually enjoyed it as we explored the coast and ventured out a lot more spending little time at the actual site. Once skintness eased off a bit we never returned to a Haven or similar again.

I like to use one of those wrap/tortilla things you buy in an 8 pack as the base then just add passatta, mozzarella, whatever toppings. Takes about 5 minutes and crisps up a treat. Give it a whirl. Therein is the problem. They deliberately price their products way above normal, then sell with essentially an "offer" every day. OK if buying for a few- buy one get another free for example- but a con basically. The season ticket offer, is just another such bit of marketing. I know someone who bought a Hugo Boss watch for about £250, and was then surprised to find out it was lower quality than something you’d buy on a beach in Tenerife. Shoes from a shoemaker. Shirts from a shirt maker. Watch from a watchmaker. Pans by Le Crueset. Don’t deviate. Lesson learned.

tyldesley_white
Papa John’s and Domino's are both shit and expensive in the UK. From someone who love the Philly cheese steak pizza from Dominos over here
Site Supporter barryk32 Posted February 28 Site Supporter Share Posted February 28 There was one across from our hotel at AFC Wimbledon. Thought it was actually decent. Miles better than Dominos
