It’s 2023, IDs are mainly don’t digitally. Or are you suggesting those mainly old people find a Photo Booth, pay £5 for some pics, then post them to wherever is making the ID?

Youve really not thought about this have you.

I have indeed. I assisted my daughter applying for her Provisional Driving Licence a few weeks ago. She uploaded a photo (optionally), then had to send a further physical application with a physical photo attached, signed on the back by a Professional family friend, along with further documentation (proof of NI number, birth certificate etc). Same goes for new Passport applications.

Spot on pal. Didn't think they'd accept "Bronze Sud-Monkey Hunk" as a 'Profession', but it sailed through. 👍

Luckily they don’t need a hard photo for the ID, the money they can save on that they can use at an internet cafe (if they’re still a thing)

I suppose they could use a Library to access the internet if they're capable of getting there, but the cunts have shut most of them down too.

I was confused by your football comparison that’s all.

If people want to vote they will. Having ID is no major problem.

Ok think I have fully explained it now.

Have a good night at work 😎😂🤣

Be better to raise the voting age to 25.

Absolutely, as well as those over 85. Also, don't let anybody who hasn't had a full time job in the last two years have a vote either.

Fine

But stop folk over 70 from voting as well, as statistically they’ll either die before the next election or they’ll have dementia and vote Tory.

Kids and grumblies are a menace.

Blatant ageism again I see. Interesting that you are happy to support that genuine dodderer Biden.

That is much fairer and I would agree. Just as those younger than 25 haven't had enough life experience, those over 85 are often too confused to know slippers from kippers.

Probably a very fair second point too. If they aren't contributing to the tax take, why should they?

I think this is a solution to an issue that doesn't exist.

Personally, I think everyone should have a national ID card anyway which would remove this issue.

The Stasi would agree.

There was an aussie on lbc earlier

Uk resident

He pointed out a good number of the aussie wankers who stopped their boats fucked off over here to work with the tories when they were fucked off

So we can blame them too, for this vile racist regime

Get shut

 What a load of sensationalist fucking codswallop. Shite yes - too social democrat rather than truly Conservative.

Racist in what way? Sunak and Braverman aren't white if you hadn't noticed. Thought you could only be racist if you are white?

Is "Screeching" just what Gammons say when somebody says something they don't agree with?

Suggest you watch Phoebe Plummer if you really want to know where the term originated. Screeching has been a (perceived by them) weapon of feminists and the extreme left for a long time now. They believe that shouting over you will drown you out and stop your opinion being heard.

You started it with your Under 25 horseshit.

you’re basically scared of young people because you know they have this government sussed.

Little shits, with their opinions you don’t like.

Recently countersigned a passport application for the child of a family friend. Before signing, I checked my qualification to sign as a retired fireman. All was ok. I found out, however that, “anyone of good standing in the community” is an acceptable signatory. Strangely, this isn’t on the list of acceptable signatories for provisional drivers licenses.

You really are gormless aren't you? Every man and his ethically sourced dog knows that young 'uns with no kids, no mortgage and no job (often because they are swanning around doing worthless courses at universities to avoid having to work) live in a fluffy marshmallow dream world where everyone deserves to be 'equal' and everything that 'grown ups' stand for simply must be wrong tend to vote for socialism swallowing the line that they are the party for the people when in fact a large proportion of them are millionaires or at least comparatively wealthy. Many of them have chardonnay as their tipple of choice and subscribe to the Hollywood elite view of the world based on their guilt complex over their embarrassment of riches compared to those with a mud hut and a donkey and cart. "Let all of the immigrants in (because I live in a secure fenced abode) to live alongside the hoi polloi and compete for their jobs and services".

The under 25 suggestion is not horseshit. It is eminent common sense to only allow people to vote once they have matured sufficiently to understand enough so as not to tick the wrong box in a 50-50 proposition.

My step lad left school at 18, did an apprenticeship , just now finished his degree at 24 and is looking to transfer with his company to Dubai this year.

Apparently only now is he qualified to vote.

Last time he voted he voted Conservative but won't again because he thinks they are shit now. He has also recently taken to sporting a moustache.

Completely puddled.

It's been coming for years but May 2023 is the date he finally lost the run of himself.
