desperado
We’ll need to keep Dempsey on a leash and stop him going back into Maryport

paulhanley
Best outcome. We'd have been Stockport's big derby day and it'd have been an awkward couple of fixtures. Carlisle will be tasty too but more off the pitch!!

Farnywhite
Carlisle keeper looked good . giant in the net came out for crosses took the pressure of and a superb save when it was heading into the top corner in last ten minutes

Can see him scoring in the last minute and running past their fans with finger to lips etc. Or some elaborate knock out punch kind of celebration. Lt. Aldo Raine
I wouldn't mind us making a move for that Moxon
Johnnyrotten
I thought Stockport would have had a bit more financial muscle to get aim for top 10 in league one, I imagine Carlisle will have less ambition and staying up would be an achievement, so that has to be better for us, 1 less potential challenger. Noticed their little terrace behind the goal was open for the play off. It would be great if that could be an option for away fans, with the 2k seats as well. Why would they not cash in on their bigger games against us and Blackpool/maybe Sheff Wed? I'd assumed that terrace was closed as I hadn't seen it used for years, but maybe more tickets for us than we thought?
TrickyTrotter
Interesting article about Chris Markham's work on penalties whilst working in the England set up. Pity we didn't get the chance to put his knowledge to work. https://trainingground.guru/articles/edwards-and-simpson-pay-tribute-to-england-penalty-project-after-wins
green genie
Sporting side of me says Wednesday after 96 points, the football fan says Barnsley more likely to struggle next season and we may need them to be one of the three to finish below us
Whitestar
Kind of lost interest a bit now, probably won't bother watching but will keep an eye on the score.

Whitestar
So having already saved £120 on the hotel, £70 on petrol and however much the tickets were plus I'd have been on my third drink by now i reckon I'll be about £320 up on the day 🤔

It's not a bad consolation prize seeing as we probably would've got pumped by Sheff Weds anyway.
