Ah right

I still think there's a strong possibility it goes before the deal's up though

Sky's whole deal with the Premier League is on borrowed time. Sooner or later they are going to fuck all the broadcasters off and do it themselves, streaming every game on an app.

It's probably why they are so keen to make a big deal out of the Championship in particular.

On the womens football thing... we all travel around the country watching the 49th best team in England... maybe top 200 in the world?

If it was just technical excellence we were after, bring on the European Super League.

I agree with you on the summarisers. But the female commentators are often very good and a bit of a throwback. Much less prone to silly hyperbole and inane, chummy sense of humour. They just commentate on the game.

Agreed. But there are so many of them. It's getting so that the women outnumber the men. Equality going the other way. It's like being at our house.

Will we still be brought to you by Anthony Axfords, Sock Shop, Glenmuir and our charity partners Urban Outreach?

Only seen one game on iFollow since lockdown (Port Vale home game in The Embankment in Benidorm) and it was triggering lockdown PTSD hearing those bloody sponsors.

The portvale 6-2 loss or whatever it was at home was a mental game. Without lockdown I reckon evatt would have been hounded out after that.

It was horrendous. He proper got cover from some shit performances in that lockdown season.

He's borderline getting hounded out now for having a Wembley win, trophy and play off attempt under his belt this season! 🤣

I think that’s why I did so many aways this year, I just couldn’t bring myself to go through that traumatic experience again 😂. Fucking Fergal Sharkey! Came on the radio the other day, I had a little chuckle to myself.

That one was just an utterly mental game. Like watching a game of five a side.

I wonder if this will impact slightly on ST sales?

If I’m reading this right & If we fail to get promoted, then as one of the bigger clubs in the division, over half our games will be moved from 3PM Saturday.

Whatever anyone says the atmosphere and general match day experience suffers.

Massive impact on away travel too.

I suppose we will have to wait until the alternative kick-off times are announced but I would guess that lunchtime kick-offs Sat/Sun will play a large part.
