Losing, maybe £50-80m. That's simply not going to happen. So he will be fined the max (a month I think) & be paid for the rest. Think of it like an injury really, with no physical damage. The guardian football podcast made a good point. Maybe we need to look at why he was doing it. Was he affecting games or is he addicted. The lad may need help. Not allowed to train with the club for 4 months, then can train but not play, for the next 4. Tbf if you are going to mention the 13 games, 11 were whilst he was on loan elsewhere and 2 he was on loan at Wigan and not in the match day squad.
